@Izumi: Eeeew, that's creepy familiar to one of my friend's ex-friend. the ex-friend would be in the same position of your hubby. My friend it's like the ex, we all just had to hear about the insanity. We tried to help but. . . .
It was unrelated things that broke the friendship up, for us. But anyway, yeah, don't sink down to her level. If you can, change the number so she can't call. But it sounds like there are visitation issues. I would suggest telling her that if she can't keep a civil tounge, then she should not continue calling. If she ignores you, hang up. People like her will call back. Repeat the message that she has to keep her language civil. One of two things will happen. She'll either keep calling, because she feels entitled to call and rant at you, and MIGHT change her habits just to keep calling. Or . . . . she'll stop calling. And if she stops, well, yeah that book is worrisome. She might try to withhold visitation rights. Not a fun situation to be in, and I'm sorry that you are living through that. |
