Scott let out a laugh. "So, how are you feeling? any better?"

Meiko smiled at him. "Yes though unlike you I will be feeling this for a while. Though can you feel pain anymore? I know you have anger...you have that emotion down quite well."

"No, I cant feel pysichal pain. But I can still fell hot,cold,soft,hard,and other things."

Meiko grinned as she looked at him. "Yes you are hot." She laughed as she gave him a wink then turned and looked at his cat and smiled at it.

"How do you mean?" Scott leand in closer to Meiko.

Meiko turned and looked at Scott blankly. "What do you mean by that? How do I mean your hot?" She leaned into him and whispered into his ear." Well I guess you'll have to figure that out..you are a cop after all." She grinned at him as she moved back and laughed.

Scott leaned back. "Are you hungry? All I have is liquid foods, but I can have something deliverd."

Meiko smiled and shook her head. "No that is fine I have food at home that I need to eat." She looked back to purman and gently picked him up and held him in her arms. "I see you have someone to keep you complany don't you."

"Yeah, I found him in an ally when he was just a kitten. He's really the only one who likes me for me."

"Thats not true Scott...you don't give people enough time to get to know you. I like you Scott." She smiled as she turned and looked at him.

"Thanks. Your probably the first person to say that since I joined the unit."

"No the chief would and most of the others...you aren't a ex assassin with mental issues. Besides Becky thinks your cute. That is why she keeps trying to find reason to come to your office when your in the building, and the reason why she runs when I come around...beside the fact we had our talk about you and I informed her you where mine."

"What do you mean, I'm yours?"

"Simple your mine. In other words your off limits to anyone but me at that office. I have no problem killing and making it look like a accident. " Meko turned and looked at him as she kissed his cat. She turned then looked at at him. "I don't think any one there is good enough for you....and I..I l-like....you."

Scott reached out and held Meiko's hand. "I like you too."

Meiko blushed as she tried to look away so he couldn't see. She had never blushed before this was new to her.She looked back at him smiling slightly."Of course you do I am your partner you have to like me."

"I know that, but I've aways had sort of a thing for you. Your very special."

Meiko stared at him then smiled. "You are to me that is why I was bound not to lose you and pulled the stupid stunt. I am glad you didn't want to kill me. That would have been a great way to get rid of me. I always wandered why you cared so much about what and I did and didn't do."

"Here, let me show you something." Scott went to a desk and got out a VR visor. He handed it to Meiko. Go ahead put it on, You'll be able to see me as I was before I became a cyborg."

Meiko did as he asked. She smiled and laughed at what she saw. "Doesn't look like much changed. Though you were and are a cutie! Hard to believe you where a solider though. Are you sure that is you?" She said in a playing manner as she took the VR Visor off and looked at him.

"Yeah, that was me. And thanks for calling me a cutie" Scott said as he leaned in closer to Meiko.

Meiko laughed as she hoped he didn't see her blush. "I call them as I see them."

"So do I." Scott paused for a moment, then looked up at Meiko. "I think your beautiful, and I love you."

Meiko looked at him in shock. "I-I-..ugh thank you....I love you to Scott." She gave him as smile leaned into him then kissed his cheek gently.

For a second, Scott could feel the kiss. He then went back to the Vr helmet. "Here, put it back on. I have an idea."
