Lol, Rei, that's funny.
Any time I'm on a cell, all I do is text, Granny. I like being able to ignore people I don't wanna talk to, lol. Awww, Kat, I love butterflies!!! |
I don't know where I would put a charm on my phone.
It has no place where anything could be hooked to it. |
yes, that is a bonus of texting. ignore!!!
|
Alright friends it time for me to leave for a while weekly visit to my grandparents and then Christmas party later tonight. I'll stop by when I get home to do some baking and chatting with all of you.
Take care and have a great day |
Exactly, Kat, and then when they asked why you didn't text back all you have to say is "oh, man, I must not have gotten your text. I'm sorry." lol love it!!!
I used to have a phone that had a Hello Kitty charm complete with lil blue bell on it...but then I dropped the phone down some huge stone steps and it turned into a 5 piece mess. I haven't have any charms since then. |
I'm so addicted to texting and it's bad. It's impersonal but that's why I like it. So bad...
|
bye stageman.
yeah, I actually sometimes don't get texts though. or I get a rush of them 3 days later. |
I gotta go! I'll talk to you guys later. :)
|
Yea, mine would do that some times. Like the last time I did have one, I went to camp where we had ZERO service and I didn't get any texts until I got back a week later. I ended up having 54 messages. I about died trying to read and reply to them all.
Bbye love!!! |
Is texting a bit like chatting in these threads?
|
yeah, but without an easy keyboard. at least for me.
|
I would say texting is a lot like chatting only you can only talk to one person at a time (except for forwards). So it's kinda more like instant messaging. I think...
|
yeah, I guess to Mehi. that's the way to describe it.

Oh. I have never had very much experience with instant messaging.
We had it a bit at work. `laughs` It sounds like a different language, Rei! |
That's what I'm thinking is the best way to describe it. I mean it's one of those things that's hard to describe. But it's useful. Like if my mom sends my dad to the store, she sends her grocery list to him via text message cause he would forget something if it wasn't written down and he would lose the list if it was hand written. So, texts are pretty useful. Dad hates it though.
Trust me, Granny, it is another language. Thank the gods that it is one I actually can semi-understand. |
I don't text speak because I have T-9 or whatever on my phone and it spells out the word for me.

I suppose that explains some of the posts that I see.
It always sounds like a much younger person. |
Well I go it done I entered the holiday costume contest. probably won't win but I wanted to anyway
|
Kat, I had T-9 on mine too but I still spoke chat/text speak. I sometimes slip and use it in here. lol
|
Yes that normally tend to be the case.
|
I only use a few chat words that I had a friend tell me what they meant. I can only figure out some of them.
|
I can read chat speak and l33t, but I owe most of that to Megatokyo.
|
What is l33t?
