L33t is the "language" of replacing letters with numbers or symbols. It's related to chat speak in that it was used to text back before the one where it spells out words for you became common.

Oh well I learned soemething new then today I knew the substuting numbers for letters was commoen but I didn't know there was a name for it

I don't text at all! O: I know... I'm behind the times and too young to be not all up on the latest tech but I just... find no use for it. Besides, I know that I'm the type that if I did I'd never stop. :/
