I love how nearly everyone waits until Christmas Eve to wrap the presents...then again I just finished my shopping today >_> It's been a busy month.

GrannyJ 12-24-2009 09:49 PM

Oh, thank you so much, Nenna!
I hope I will be able to earn enough, but it's so nice to know that I won't have to worry about it.

Stageman87 12-24-2009 09:49 PM

I get Others to do my wrapping. Girlfriend did my sisters gift and my mother wrapped my girlfriends gift. Its better then my brother. He wrap his gift and blankets and newspaper. Very strange.

Kat Dakuu 12-24-2009 09:49 PM

that is strange Stageman!

*glomps nenna back* HIIII!!!!

Rei Ann 12-24-2009 09:51 PM

I was done with shopping on tuesday. Though does anyone know what it takes to make the first cookie? Or bake good.

nike13 12-24-2009 09:51 PM

@Stageman
That's how my brother operates, we all wrap presents for him...don't know how he manages it really I just end up wrapping for him. This is the first time I've wrapped for my husband though as its first Christmas, before I would make him suffer cause he didn't help me pick out gifts for his family.

Nanenna 12-24-2009 09:52 PM

I thought people wrapped gifts on Christmas Eve so when the kiddies come downstairs in the morning it looks like Santa just put them all there.

Kat Dakuu 12-24-2009 09:53 PM

no, we hide the gifts in the closet so they appear like magic! My dad sometimes goes shopping on Eve. he's crazy!

bloodstainedwings 12-24-2009 09:53 PM

hey guys, im back for a breif moment. while i can be. the turkey is almost done so you know. and it smells great!

Rei Ann 12-24-2009 09:54 PM

My mom always shops on x-mas eve, and we always wrap gifts on x-mas eve, even though I'm 19, I can't wrap a gift to save my life.

Santa's gifts were always the ones that weren't wrapped, my mom would wrap the others before hand just to torture us. My husband's mom stopped doing that cause him and his sister would unwrap and then rewrap their presents early >.<

Kat Dakuu 12-24-2009 09:54 PM

hi BSW. I haven't really tried to understand the event yet. Right now I'm just going to bother with chatting with people

bloodstainedwings 12-24-2009 09:55 PM

true enough. i like all events, so ts not ike it matters. i just might like it a little less then the others. then again, i dont think anything is going to top the valentines one. that was fantastic. ok i have to go again. my boyfriend is making fun of me, saying im lame!

Stageman87 12-24-2009 09:56 PM

For two weeks straight our living room looks likes Santa's workshop with all the paper, ribbons bows, and tags my mom has everywhere. The cat loves it, the dog not so much. He doesn't like being told not to sit there. We make joke about how mom is wrapping gifts and how it won't be a surprise is she wraps them while where in the room then she yells at us for looking at what she is doing.

@ Kat its like The halloween event

Nanenna 12-24-2009 09:56 PM

Shopping on Christmas Eve sounds just awful! I had to work retail and it was always the worst day to work because it's just craaaaaaaaaazy out there!

Kat Dakuu 12-24-2009 09:58 PM

my dad likes to go to the mall and get everything at once and he doesn't shop until double digits starting with 2 he jokes!

I'd be amused as a cat in all those bows and ribbons too Stageman!

Rei Ann 12-24-2009 09:59 PM

Normally the Santa gits weren't wrapped, but this year my mom plans on saying that once you turn ten all Santa gifts are wrapped. Shrugs. So anyways, yep, all but my gifts that are for me, are wrapped.

Nanenna 12-24-2009 10:00 PM

Ah... to be able to play with ribbons and bows! It's so much fun! ^^

nike13 12-24-2009 10:00 PM

Heh eventually Santa just stopped bringing me things. I kinda figured it out but to save my younger brother any disappointment I would just tell him that Santa only give presents to kids and I was just too old.

I didn't want to tell him Mom was Santa ^^;

Rei Ann 12-24-2009 10:03 PM

My mom didn't stop doing Santa gifts for me, in order to not spoil it for my siblings. Shrugs. I dislike ribbons.

Kat Dakuu 12-24-2009 10:03 PM

oh dear Nike! I always get santa presents! I help wrap them too and get bored and say they're from like rudolf and the elves and random people!

Stageman87 12-24-2009 10:03 PM

I'm an adult now and I still get a gift from Santa. It usually the biggest gift I get every year its mom way of trying to say I didn't spend the money Santa made it. It funny because all my gift from my dad to her say from Santa because they always say that they aren't giving gift to each other every year.

nike13 12-24-2009 10:04 PM

Ribbons are fun now that I know how to do the curl trick on the presents ^__^ I love wrapping.

Lol I'm 25 and married, mom can't really do Santa presents for me now. Santa will visit again when I have kids. My mom didn't even tell me there wasn't a Santa she just started with 'about Santa' and I was like 'its alright, i know' and we just left it at that. It was also when money started getting really tight so I figured it was better that my little brother still got to enjoy it.

Kat Dakuu 12-24-2009 10:04 PM

I really suck at wrapping. I realized that today....
