It gets COLD on the Southern coast.. the humidity or something makes it go right to your bones. I was down there in November one year and couldn't stop shivering.

I guess that we're completely sheltered here in Savannah. It's like LA, we don't have seasons, just jacket weather!

I used to think the same thing about preferring the cold to the heat - you could always layer but you can only take off so much.
Then one of my friends pointed out that while being hot really sucks and makes you feel slow and sluggish, cold is just plain PAINFUL. The cold hurts and stabs at you. I rather feel gross and sluggish than being pained by the cold. [shrugs] |

My average temperature is about 99.1 Fahrenheit. I run a bit warmer than the global average, which is 98.6.
I used to use that 'temperature' to get out of school some days back in High School. :p |

Oh Fahreinheit is in degrees too. It's just different! 2.3 f degree is about 1 c degrees! 32 is freezing, etc.

We do too, haha just degrees Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. It is confusing. Why were are the only place in the world who has to be different is beyond me but it is so ingrained in our minds at this point that switching to metrics would really screw us up.
