Regarding Gaia, I've been there a few years ago and used to love it, but it has become a big nasty blob I no longer enjoy, so I gave my items to friends and left. Haven't been there for a good long time now.

The hill? As mentioned (but the answer probably got lost within the thread speed), it looks like a hill. Green grass, surrounded by a tree or two, and stones scattered all over. A stair leading down to explorable crypt. My Sim got this as her first adventure, had to bring the shopkeeper something.

Craig Sherman is the CEO of Gaia. He's everything that's gone commercial on that site. He also screwed Neopets (not sure if he was the CEO there or not) by making it the crap it is now :)

Yeah, the aquariums have managed to keep me hooked. The forum for them can be nice most of the time, too, but I've noticed more and more mean activity in there. ._.

I've actually signed a petition to put EIs back on a schedule and make it public. I stay out of Site Feedback in general, though. Outside the petition threads, it's scary there. And Mene shouldn't go down that path, unless the spam ban gets lifted... among other things.
