I'm back!

@ Nocere: Oh how sad....did you live in Phoenix or in another state that has one?
I know, I have only been once and I didn't get to explore it as much as i'd like cause i was with friends who always go.

My fav animal is a fox...but giraffes and such are fun from a photography stand point.

My browser says I have something baking -- I hit "refresh" with the ingredients list *open*, and that seemed to wake something up! I'll know in a minute.

@Wynna, they are cute:)but no I haven't seen the show meerkat manor.

Meerkats!!! I love them. The last time I went to the zoo, there was this group of little meerkats and this one was just loving the attention I was giving him. He was posing for the camera and everything, it was the cutest thing.

@aneru - I'm actually a Texan, and I would go to the Texas Renaissance Festival every year.

I don't think I've ever seen a meerkat live.

Aneru, have you ever seen a fennec fox? They are my absolute favorite animal actually.

@ Nocere: Oh, cool! My aunt and uncle on my dad's side live in Houstan, and used to have a beach house near Galveston but a hurricane killed it. Denver has a rennaissance festival too, and my cousins live just a few hours away and always go to that one.

@aneru - I went to California for school. I'm back in Texas now for Christmas break.

We usually go to the TX Ren Festival every-other year.

@Wynna: burnt baked apples. Got 1 gold. :(

But in other news, someone on Gaia just sent me an item I've been wanting for a while, so I feel a little better. :)

And we had an amazingly productive day in the storage locker, consolidating boxes, moving things from odd-sized boxes to standard bankers' boxes, getting rid of packing material (I now have a car FULL of flattened boxes, styrofoam peanuts, and bubble wrap), and generally bonding over shared suffering.

Aww they are cute but I like the arctive and normal red foxes best. I thinkit's cute/funny when they are trying to hunt small mammals and they pounce up and down....
