For the event commons there's usually just one item that really calls to me, and it's usually one of the highest-end items so I save all my event currency that doesn't go to EIs to throw it at that to get it for 'virtually free' before it gets released at 'normal' pricing...

I can understand that love. :) I loved a lot of the items this go round.. so many pretty things. I got the innocent set though because I can make my wedding avi with it. :) I was so pleased to see that set.

You know, one of the reasons I try to keep it 'simple' on Menewsha is because on Gaia where most of us come from, people just equip all the most expensive stuff they have even if it doesn't match whatsoever and most avatars are simply BLOBS of STUFF that is really unattractive and disgusting to me.

Some time ago I would have recommended it. Now my advice is to stay away. They have 'cash' that can up your chances at winning gold in the lottery and in the fishtank mini games, alot of 'rich get richer' schemes, and high end cash only items they push, along with tons of advertisements, both in sponsored items, the ads themselves, and videos to grant a cheap item... they try to sell you skittles twelve ways to Sunday, I swear...

Ahh Gaia has gone so far downhill it makes me kind of sad. It was my first avi site.

Oh, and the worst part is they can and have compromised the security of their users' computers. They have 'cash offers' by sponsors that solicit your email, and infect your machine with a handful of things that are caught by Spybot, I've seen the screenshots, and they're not pretty.

Same. I loved it, I really did. But now.... Mene is my home.

The only thing I really know about it is that, a bunch of people who can't draw use it to make crumby OCs
