Yah me too, Dys. I can't imagine what kind of position it puts the kids in. I do feel for them on that level. At the same time though, every celebration they do it like 5 times each year so they can be with their family, so it isn't from lack of attention.

Jen - That's what I'm trying to do, and to remember that I have a life outside of time spent with the kids. Soon I'll be going to school, and I also have the time spent with just myself and my husband. I have much going for me at the moment, and really the only hindrences are her and just lack of finances. I'm doing what I can to correct the latter, and will continue to have hope that the kids grow up to be happy and sucessful adults. Also, try to enjoy what time we do get them, and make the best of that.

Anyways, gripe is over. I don't wish to ruin anyone's festivities but it feels nice to get that one off my chest. I haven't had the chance to really talk to anyone about how I feel about the whole situation.

Izumi - I really applaud you for having concern about your step-children and their future. That really makes you a great person. And to handle everything else that is going on in your life? You seem to be juggling a lot, and yet you seem to manage in the end.

Ohhh do you have any more magically refilling jugs? Perhaps one that does milkshakes? Or you know what sounds really yummy is a white Russian...I don't think I could handle a limitless supply of those though. :XD

It's a bit sweet, yes...kinda tastes like a watered down coffee flavored shake I think.
