Concrit System

Because the ratio of writers to people who can give good concrit isn't a very good ratio, I've decided to come up with a sort of system. The system is so that either I or others who are good at giving concrit can effectively give concrit to those who truly want it.

The system is based in points. Any first time arrivals to the thread automatically receive 2 points. When someone asks for concrit(constructive criticism) on a certain piece, the price is basically 1 point. To encourage editing & improving of work, the literature that has been given concrit will be placed on another list and a week or so later checked to see if it was updated. If it was updated to improvement, then the person gets a point back. Otherwise it is removed from the list. If someone who's posted on the thread, takes it upon themselves to give concrit to a specific piece on the list, they may get a point for that as well. Points will be removed if/when someone breaks a rule of the thread/menewsha.

**I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO MAKE A SORT OF GALLERY OF LITERATURE RATHER THAN BUNCHES OF POSTS WITH 1 POEM EACH**

Rules

1. All Menewsha rules apply.
2. No Spamming or unrelated posts please, this includes random conversations.
3. You must specify that you would like to become a member of the thread BEFORE requesting or giving any services.
4. Please follow the requirements for the literature.
5. NO FAN FICTIONS. Fan fictions include other elements that I'm not familiar with so none of that.
6. Please be sure that any literature submitted is Grammatically correct to the best of your ability.
7. Do NOT submit the same piece more than once.
8. No hatemail or nasty posts. Remember this is CONCRIT, if you cannot take constructive criticism then don't post. I'm not going to just post "I love it," I'm going to be specific and I'm going to be honest and picky.

Some Specifications

Because of some frustrations with people's work, I've created a list of specifications that should be followed.

1. No Fan Fictions
2. Please do not ask "Is it worth it" or request help writing a plotline/character. This area is for concrit on what has already been written.
3. Do not use colors unless they have a purpose.
4. Short stories should be... well, short.
5. If you were to copy and paste your literature into word document, Arial, font size 12, single spaced and it does not fit in 2 pages, I will not do anything with it.
6. When linking, you should post a hyperlink(So I can just go "clicky") NOT the url.

Could you please explain the points a little bit more clearer?
Sorry.. I got really lost!

I'm sorry!

The points system isn't that complicated... Basically when you become a "member" of the thread, meaning you want concrit on your literature, then you receive 2 points. Everytime you send a request to have a piece of literature constructive criticized, 1 point is taken away. If you improve your literature after it's been criticized, then you get that point back. You can also get points by criticising other people literature. Does that make any more sense? It's like money you trade for criticism on your literature.

Sorry hayzel, but we don't allow these kinds of threads in Lit Spot. If people want to critique other people's work, they can go around to the threads where people have posted their work and crit there. For those who want critique, they can post "Looking for Crit" in their thread titles. I'll be locking this up now.
