Drake laughed, "Lets go." He started heading to the elevator keeping Chloe in site.
Chloe followed easily in suit, staying nearby him as she kept her smile continually. "It seems like it should be nice out, no?"
"It does, no clouds in the sky, and the air is nice." he spoke as they passed a open window. "After you M'Lady." he said bowing slightly opening the elevator door for her.
She laughed, unable to control it, as she nodded simply in response. "Well thank you." Without another thought, she simply rolled herself into the elevator, then waited for him eagerly.
He came into the elevator and pressed the button for the ground floor. "What would you like to do outside my dear?" Drake asked and took up Chloe's hand to kiss it gently.
"I just wanted to be outside for a little, really. I didn't have anything to do in mind." She smiled to him simply, a giggle escaping her lips. "It's just nice to be outside of a building sometimes, y'know?"
"That sounds nice." Drake smiled, "You have an adorable laugh." The elevator came to a halt at the ground floor, "I know a really pleasant place under a tree in the garden. It's perfect for just being outside."
"You really think so?" She smiled to him slightly, face a tad red. "To be honest, I always thought my laugh was obnoxious..." She listened to him more carefully. "A particular tree huh? Lead the way then- sounds nice to me!"
"It's not obnoxious at all," he caressed her cheek, "It's cute, just like you are beautiful." He looked into her eyes, smiled and turned to lead the way to the tree, "The tree is just over here a little bit, once there I can help you out of your chair, if you want."
Another giggle managed out of her as she smiled to him. "Just like you're sweet?" She glanced to him a bit more easily, rolling next to him as he lead the way. "And I'd like that. This way it'll be easier to sit next to you more normally."
"Thanks. I guess I'm sweet." He smiled as she rolled next to him, "Sounds good." he nodded. They came upon the tree, "Hm, how shall we do this?" Drake looked at Chloe then the ground, "What if i pick you up and slowly put you down on the ground while you keep your bad leg up?"
She smiled when they got to the tree, looking up at him. "That's fine. I'll make sure to do my best to keep my leg up so it won't cause a hassle. I really am sorry you have to help me out though... If it weren't for my leg I could just get out and sit next to you myself." She laughed nervously, smiling to him. "Thank you though."
"It's not a problem, you're not a hassle." Drake leaned over Chloe so his head was over her shoulder and picked her up by her thighs, "Sorry I have to do it like this, it's the only way I could see doing without hurting either of us." He pushed the chair away and moved to the left a little bit, slowly going down lower to place her on the floor near the tree. "There." Drake took a deep exhale and chilled against the tree. Looking into the sky he smiled, "isn't it amazing?"
She smiled to him simply when he had apologized. "There's nothing wrong with it, don't worry." When she was able, she leaned back against the tree, slightly leaning on him without really trying or meaning to. Then, she looked at him with a smile. "It is wonderful... But somehow, it sorta makes me think of what people always call a date for some reason. Am I strange?"
Drake smiled at her realizing she was leaning on him, and he slowly moved closer to her. "It does resemble something like a date, you're not strange, do you want this to be a date?" He took her hand in his and massaged it lightly.
"I don't know. I don't know anything 'bout that stuff. To me, it's just nice like this. I don't really think much about that stuff aside from it." Smiling up at him, she gripped his hand lightly in response to his own gesture.
"Okay, that makes sense." he nodded slowly and smiled at her, griping her hand in his continuing to massage hers with his thumb,"What's your favorite season?" Drake asked as he looked at a monarch butterfly flutter by.
"Spring. The best and most fresh ingredients are available then, and it's always so nice out!" A giggle escaped her. "Sorta like right now. In spring, a lot of really good berries grow fresh, and milk even seems better in this season because of how well the grass that the cows eat grows."
"Mhm, this is an amazing season." He looked around then felt his hand on the grass, smooth. "Everything is better this time of year." he nodded.
She giggled, smiling to him. "Yep. Though I bet your reasoning isn't as revolved around food as mine." A small laugh that was more of a pure laugh this time came out of her lips before she stared up at the leaves of the tree again.
"Right, mine's more about it looks and smells, and the general air in the season." He said looking around, "Air, like feeling in the air." he laughed, "I'm a little strange."
"Eh, I think everyone's at least a little strange. If we weren't we wouldn't be at all interesting would we?" She giggled, smiling to him. "I don't think of it as strange at all, though, really. I find it quite neat, personally. That's just me, though, perhaps."
"I love the way you look at things, it's so unique and so great." he smiled at her, "You are refreshingly optimistic, it's pleasant." Drake brushed back a strand of Chloe's hair out of her face and kissed her cheek gently.
A light blush accented her face when she felt the light kiss on her cheek, but she managed to smile warmly in response despite it. Her arms moved to hug him, and so she leaned against him more easily. "And I love you-" She stopped. What had she just been saying? Wasn't it a bit sudden? It startled her, and quite more then she'd meant to startle herself.
Drake hugged her, and held her. Smiling he listened to what she said, he moved his finger to her lips, "It's a bit early to say that..." he laughed lightly, still holding her, looking into her eyes. He didn't freak out or run away, he had strong feelings for her, almost love, but he truly believed it was too early to say so.
