"Found you!" Screamed a young man no older than twenty-three as he dove from a cloud, it seemed, tackling Kin to the ground on his back. A cute pair of purple cat ears flicked at the sides of his head, a smile on his face as he nuzzled against his new Guarded's chest. His hair and fluffy tail matched the color of his ears, and his eyes were a brilliant gold. An 'S' with a dot in the center space of each curve sat in the middle of his forehead. A dark but loose turtleneck muscle shirt clung to his lithe, beautiful body, and he didn't wear pants but a purple skirt and black leggings. He looked an awful lot like a woman.

"Do you know how long I've looked for you, Kaito?" He questioned with a bright expression, the light of the streetlights making his eyes shine much like a cat's would; a pale blue color. He had small, cat-like pupiles, and his hands and feel seemed to be built slightly differently; his feet had high arches and he had long, nimble fingers.

"C'mon, it's time to get you back home." He took the other's hand and hoisted him up, a bright smile on his face as he tugged him forward, not yet noticing the girl. "If we don't, They might find us."

The night was cool and blistery for an Autumn evening, and Kaito had been returning from a date with the woman who was now knocked a few feet away from them into a fence.

Kaito blinked, still slightly dazed form the turn of events, "Wh-what?" He tugged his hand away from the strange boy's grasp and took a few steps back, "Excuse me but I don't think...I know you..." His eyes went from the boy's ears to his fluffy tail to the marking on his forehead, then to the weird outfit he was wearing. Then he remembered Kim and blanked turning every which way for the woman. When he spotted her he quickly moved to her side to help her up, "Are you alright?"
"What hit me?" She questioned. Kaito's eyes moved to the cat-boy, "I have no idea." Really, Kaito had no idea what to think, weren't things like...that supposed to be...well not real? "Maybe I just hit my head..." He muttered. "Huh? What was that? I didn't catch it." Kim murmured. Kaito frowned, "It was nothing, come on, let's get you home..." He pulled Kim in the opposite direction and crossed the street with her, heading for her house.

"HEY! NO! WAIT!" The boy waved his arms frantically, tailing them quickly and tackling him once more. "You can't go with her! She'll jeopardize the mission! You could DIE!" He cried, looking dead serious. "She needs to leave, and you need to come with me!" He added, "We have to get somewhere safe, They're COMING!" He whined, wriggling a little against the other's body. "C'mon, we have to GO!" He bounced a little, looking totally distraught.

"Hey look, I don't know what your problem is, but you are seriously freaking me out." Kaito said, backing up a few steps. He turned his head to Kim, "You go ahead, call me when you get home." She nodded and gave the cat-boy a strange look before hurrying away. Kaito returned his attention to the boy in front of him and blinked slowly, "Let's clear things up first, I don't know who you are...so why should I even trust you?" 'Geez...I'm talking to some weird cat...guy thing...what did I hit my head on...?'

The boy brightened and straightened happily, extending a hand, "My name is Brae Noon." He smiled, "Kaito, you need to trust me." Suddenly, the ground shook. Blinking slightly, he suddenly snatched the other's hand and took off in the first direction he could think of. "We need to get you home now!"

Kaito let himself be pulled a few feet before he opened his mouth, "I live in the opposite direction Brae." Things were getting stranger and stranger by the second but Kaito decided that nothing could get weirder than having a skirt wearing cat-boy randomly fall on him and know his name and everything. Nope, nothing beat that.

Brae paused, "Right." He then tugged in that direction, running as fast as he dared. He didn't want Kaito to lose track of him. He was tempted to take his other form, at least one of them, but he didn't need to go freaking out the neighbors so soon.

When they reached his house Kaito unlocked the door and walked in, "I'm home." he called out. There was no answer. After he had taken his shoes off he wandered into the kitchen, "I guess they went out." he murmured, then returned to the front hall, "care to explain to me what you were talking about now?" he asked Brae.

Brae smiled once he was returned to and grinned wide, suddenly. "I am your Guardian. I come from a universe parallel to this one, called Aveon. You have, on your stomach, a 'tattoo' of something very important to my kind. It's a special seal that locks away the key to our civilization. If the Others get a hold of you, then they could change the future for the worst! You could be the killer of our race!" He was on his knees, clinging to one hand while his other had pushed up the other's shirt. A very intricate design danced around his belly button.

"Uhh...ever heard of personal space...or privacy?" Kaito asked, quickly backing away from the other's hand. This boy was way to strange. "ugh..this is way too much information to take in...I need a nap." Ignoring the other boy Kaito climbed the stairs quickly and went to the attic, where his room was located before collapsing onto his bed.

A sad sigh left the boy and he moved into the nearest bathroom. He stood there, staring into a mirror for a while. He concentrated each and every cell in his body on it, and it wasn't working. He found a little hand mirror and decided to try it on that. He sat at the edge of the other's bed, after a while, concentrating hard on it.

kaito groaned when he felt the added weight at the end of his bed, "What are you doing now?" He asked, throwing an arm across his face and over his eyes. He didn't even bother looking anymore, sure the answer was going to be a weird one that completely went against everything he knew or believed in.

The boy ignored him, still concentrating on the mirror. However, soon a face that wasn't Brae's appeared there and he began conversing with it.

"Sena, I have located him."

"And have you gotten him home? Safe?"

"Yes...but he doesn't believe me. He still doesn't think he needs me."

"Put him on." Brae held out the mirror.

"She wants to talk to you." It was clearly one of Kaito's mirrors; he couldn't have done anything to it.

Kaito reached out a hand and took the mirror slowly, "Yes?" Right...maybe he was being a bit narrow minded I mean look at all the evidence he had before him. "I give up..." he muttered more to himself than anything.

A rather beautiful woman stared back at him. "Hmm? What was that, boy?" She didn't seem too happy that this human didn't believe her precious Brae. Not that he was her best soldier, but he was good for this job.

"Nothing. It was nothing." Kaito replied, sitting up, his hair falling into his face briefly before it was pushed back, "What did you need to speak to me about?" This was crazy, he was talking to a reflection in a mirror...yea...maybe it was time he started believing..

"I hear tell you don't believe The Sergeant...well, you'd best start believing, or he'll be recalled and we'll send you one that will force you to believe." She snapped, looking rather put-out by the news of his disbelief.

Brae sheepishly put his ears back and blushed, looking down. Their leader could be a bit...overbearing at times.

Kaito shrugged, "Fine. Whatever. So...uhh...what am I supposed to do?" he asked, trying to appease the angry woman. If Brae wasn't the worst one there...well he didn't want to meet anymore weird people today.

"Follow his instructions, never let him leave your side." The woman barked, looking rather peeved. "Also, make sure to be kind to him, because if he calls me crying, I'm sending out Butch." And Butch was not someone you wanted to meet.

"uhh...alright...?" Kaito replied then moved to Brae's side and slung a arm across his shoulder, "Being nice now see?" Right, he would pick Brae over...whoever this butch person was. Cause Butch didn't sound like a nice person...not at all. He shuddered unconsciously and pulled Brae closer, "I'll be good. Promise." Scary how women could be so intimidating sometimes.

"Good boy. Now, Brae, honey," Her voice seemed to change completely, "Be a good boy, and go ahead and eat something! I know you and your habit of starving yourself. This kind boy will feed you. And if he doesn't..." Something crashed outside of the house, "Butch will make him." Butch wasn't even a person, but a large, threatening creature.

"Okay! Thank you dearly, Leader." He smiled, shutting the connection between the mirror and them. "Alright...so. Are you hungry? I'm a great cook!"

"N-not really..." Kaito replied, removing his arm from Brae's shoulder and backed up a few feet to put space between the two of them. Then he sighed and got up from the bed, pulling his wrinkled t-shirt straight again, "I'll show you to the kitchen though...if you don't know where it is...which I highly doubt." He said the last part under his breath, so as to not hurt Brae's feelings...or something like that anyway.

"Okay! I can make really good seafood curry! Ohohoh, and some riiiice~" It all sounded so good. "Do you have different seafood?" He didn't like just plain salmon, he liked a mixture. He hopped off the bed and bounced happily, leaving the mirror where it was. "Ohohoh! I know! I can make cookies, too! Almond paste cookies are so good!"

"Yea..." Kaito murmured, opening the door and waiting for Brae to bounce out before following him out. While they walked down the hallway Kaito took the time to observe Brae. This guy...he was like a kid or something. Though he was admittedly cute...in a way. Did he ever run out of energy? And his dressing style...a skirt and leggings? Kaito would need to talk to him about that...and the ears and tail as well. He sighed again, what had he gotten himself into?

The cat bounced around happily, and suddenly, there really was a cat there. It was small, fluffy and purple, with large golden eyes and a petite mewl. That marking was still on his forehead, and he looked just too cute. He meowed up at the other, his clothes magically gone; they became his fur. It was a nifty thing, really.
