A metaphor is comparing one thing to another to create a mental image
Something like " Her hair cascaded over her shoulders like a chocolate Waterfall" Bad example, by there you go Metaphorical destruction would be like, say... taking a glass heart, saying it was your own, then throwing it to show someone how they made you feel you're destroying the metaphorical representation of your heart to show how you believe your heart feels. something like that, I was never good at that in English lit but yeah, Metaphors tend to give a slightly more "Romantic" feel to something, usually because of the type of imagery or the vivid images that they give you |
