*hands Cica a map and a compass* how's that?

Zephi 01-17-2010 01:52 AM

LOL no kidding. When I was a nanny I was always raiding the cupboard for foods :P

The mother and father were both into organic crap where i was. I feel your pain.

Facade 01-17-2010 01:52 AM

Oh dear, organic!?
Well, uh... Have fun with that then, Linnea.
The poor kid! :gonk:

Cicadetta 01-17-2010 01:52 AM

Uh, thanks Zea... :)

Zephi 01-17-2010 01:53 AM

I babysat two kids from HELL... they loved the organic crap. Only because they didn't know better I say!
In italy... they were all into healthy crappola...

Linnea 01-17-2010 01:53 AM

@zephi: i didn't know you were a nanny? for how long? where did you go?

@facade: fortunately the kid doesn't eat a whole lot of sweets, but he does eat A LOT ... he likes eggs... weird kid lol

zeapear 01-17-2010 01:54 AM

I don't really like junk food :/, It's terrible for you and (I think) it tastes bad.

Linnea 01-17-2010 01:55 AM

my mom always bought cheap when i was a kid, so it was always koolaid and twinkies... now i like eating healthy but i do like to gorge ever now and again on some junk... like i just ate a handful of andes candies... soooo good!

Zephi 01-17-2010 01:55 AM

I was a nany in Venice, Italy for hmm... about a year. Til I found out that I was pregnant. A 7 year-old and a 4 year-old. They were evil and couldn't do a darn thing for themselves. I liked to play hid-n-seek and hide from them... lol

Facade 01-17-2010 01:55 AM

I love a good healthy meal, don't get me wrong. :)
But when it comes to snack foods, I love my junk food. >w>
I also love vegetables, though. D: So I don't eat ALL bad crap.

Eggs are good...
Lol, didn't we have a scramble egg discussion a while ago?

Ooh, Zephi has a kid? :o

zeapear 01-17-2010 01:56 AM

I don't get why people hate broccoli, it tastes good!

Zephi 01-17-2010 01:56 AM

I'm eating beef jerky as we speak :P It's my weakness... :P

I do have a kid ^^ A daughter. She's almost 5. Next week she will be.

Linnea 01-17-2010 01:58 AM

i don't think it was me you had an egg discussion with, facade... but i do like eggs, but seriously... i ask this kid what he wants to bring to school for lunch and he wants boiled eggs... not a sandwich, but eggs... he wants to eat them every day for breakfast too! he's an egg fiend...

@zephi: that's cool you got to go there to nanny... i was looking into going overseas too, but i figured i might try it a bit closer to home in case i really didn't like it... the kid here is cool... he likes a lot of the things i like (i must act like a 9 year old boy lol) and he does listen... really well... i hardly have to remind him to do anything... i am basically just his chauffeur... since he does all kinds of activities

Zephi 01-17-2010 02:01 AM

I didn't really go there to nanny.. >.> it just ended up that they were looking for a nanny that spoke english when I was illegaly in the country. lol.. So I took the job for some extra cash. They were hellians though. So stuck on eing c=princesses I mean a 7 year old kid that can't even wipe themselves after they poo is to much for me. I let her sit there til she figured it out XD I do relate more with boys. I knew exactly what my hubby's son would want for christmas before he asked XD I'm such a little kid :P

Linnea 01-17-2010 02:04 AM

yea i can relate better to boys too... and a 7 year old who couldn't wipe herself?? seriously... parent who raise their kids to be incapable of taking care of themselves need to be slapped... when i was 7 i was babysitting my baby brother and getting myself up for school and making my own breakfast... sheesh *shakes head* kids these days

zeapear 01-17-2010 02:05 AM

That seven year old sounds pretty incapable O-o

Cicadetta 01-17-2010 02:06 AM

Okay, I think I'll go for a bit. I really do have a headache and staring at a computer screen does not help. Ciao for now!

zeapear 01-17-2010 02:07 AM

Bye Cica!

Linnea 01-17-2010 02:08 AM

toodles cicadetta!

Zephi 01-17-2010 02:08 AM

Me too linnea. I was baby sitting my little sister and such. For eal, these kids were incapable of surviving without assistance. How sad. But their parents were really rich so they didn't have to do anything, not even make their own beds. I made every meal... and had to do pretty much everything for them while the parents were out at parties. Hmmm... no wonder they were bad kids. I'm sure they would have been ok but they had superiority issues too... *tch*

Bye cica-dica!!

Facade 01-17-2010 02:10 AM

Ugh, I HATE kids with superiority issues. :talk2hand:
I really don't know what parents do to kids to make them act superior...
But that sort of attitude is EVERYWHERE, and it's so damn annoying!

And aww, awesome, Zephi! Wish your five-year-old a Happy Birthday for me. =3
Will you be able to spend her birthday with her? :|

zeapear 01-17-2010 02:10 AM

Okay, I may not post for a while, I'm making a art freebie for someone random in this thread

Linnea 01-17-2010 02:13 AM

@zeap: okie, do your best!

@zephi: fortunately i just need to do breakfast most weekday mornings and dinner most weekday nights, but the weekends i am free to do whatever... and i don't have to do lots of cleaning either, which is also ideal since i hate cleaning with a passion!

@facade: i hate the kids who act like they are better then adults... man, that's like a HUGE pet peeve of mine... just because they have more money then me, doesn't make them any better then me.... grrrr....

zeapear 01-17-2010 02:14 AM

Thanks Lin, I'll try :'D

Zephi 01-17-2010 02:15 AM

I won't be able to spend it with her :( I spent her 4th birthday with her, she went to Disney world, but not this one because my mom has her and they are moving. I'm also leaving soon so... 7th bithday will be the next one that I catch :(
*kicks the army* Stupid army!!

Linnea, so you're pretty much full-time nanny? Pick him up from school and such?
