Hi guys!

We're at my cousins outside of Cincinnati right now.

We had a really close call with the RV. The pin that holds part of the tow bar to our car sheared off, and the car went awol....
Fortunately the chains kept it with the RV so it didn't go flying off to hit anybody else, and one of the tow bar arms stayed attached, but got really bent.

This all happened just as we turned down the street to my cousins house.
Since it's the weekend, we can't do anything, but on Monday we call the Blue Ox manufacturer and ask him why that huge hunk of steel just broke in half. We're going to have to get a totally new tow bar, and the stuff that attaches to the car all need to be replaced too. Probably about $1200 worth of fixes.

It's bad, but not as bad as it could have been. It could have happened on the interstate, and the car could have gone flying off and hurt somebody. But even though I keep telling myself that, I still can't sleep. My mind keeps going over and over how bad it could have been....

We also had to cancel out on our Cleveland stay. We were going to stay between Cleveland and Akron and see the NFL Hall of fame, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Now we'll just stay here until it all gets fixed, and then go directly to Detroit.
