Bye Facade!

Yah, I liked Volcano, but for a natural disaster movie, it didn't do it for me. I liked the human aspect of it more so.... Dantes Peak was just more accurate and therefore more thrilling to me. I was super close to going to the University of Hawaii to study Volcanoes.... but then English and History happened, haha. Who knew?

Deep Impact had a young Elijah Wood, what better reason to like it? And Hooray for the Twister! "Another cow!" " I think that was the same one..."

Volcano was definitely less realistic, but for whatever reason, it was more fun to watch. Then again, I've never really had the desire to study volcanoes. Geology is fun, but I've never considered it a career choice.

The human aspect of Deep Impact was better than that of Armageddon, now that you mention it. Armageddon was a silly popcorn flick with a good soundtrack, and... not much else, honestly. And Twister... For a while I wanted to be a meteorologist for that reason. Then I realized I sucked at physics, so...

Yah, I absolutely love geology and meteorology. I used to tutor for biology and geology. But, I guess I was really looking forward to a career as a waitress! Haha, jk. No, I'm glad I went with my double major... (now if I could only find a grad school)

Agreed. Armageddon had some good characters, but the focus wasn't enough. Maybe cause I wasn't feeling the main relationship. A movie like Independence Day is amazing as well. Not natural in the least, but you really did care about everyone they introduced to the plot.

And I will fully admit to watching Emma right now on Masterpiece Theatre. Thank you Jane Austen and thank you Hollywood for making 50 thousand remakes.

Yes, it's the branch of science that hates me most. Don't know why. I'm definitely a biology kinda girl, though. :)

Independence Day was fun, definitely! I have to go back and watch some of these movies again, I really do...
