Strangely enough we had been missing most of the bigger storms that have come this way. It was funny because Linnea would come to visit and that's when we would get snow.Normally we don't get this much snow though. I'm kind of worried though because its supposed to go on through tomorrow.

75 already, man that sounds really nice. Being that summer never happened here last year, that sounds really nice.

Snow doesn't happen here very often.... if it does it's like a flurry that never sticks, ever. This winter alone we have had snow 3 times and it stuck. That is a miracle. 75 is nice but the fact taht it hits 75 so early in the year means come june, july, and august we have temperatures topping 100 degrees.

It doesn't happen often...but it did happen 3 times this winter. Texas is bizarre.

@ Wings: I see what you mean about the heat. I don't fare very well with high temperatures. I'd be a puddle of uselessness haha

@ Melanie: I have never been to Texas, but I always wanted to go and check out it. It seems like such an interesting state. I've only been up and down the east coast, and visited a few mid-western states.

If you are going to come to Texas Panda I recommend coming somewhere between february-early april or late september-november.

I'll remember that :) I just need to find the money to make the trip down there first. Those are the best times for me to travel too. I have more time off from work during Feb-April. I just need to be able to avoid snowstorms first, which almost cost me a very important trip a couple of years ago

Yeah the weather is really nice in texas at those times. and relatively consistant.

I always want to do more traveling, I just never seem to have the time or the money for it.

I would love to travel but it's going to have to get my degree first, but if I can I hope to go abroad at some point.

I have been abroad once, and had thought about teaching English in Japan, but I can't at this point. My job kind of needs me right now. I still want to do it, maybe I'll be able to next year and take some time off or something.

I haven't gone abroad at all and I really want to go study english in Britain and if possible complete my graduates studies in britain

I do as well. I love languages and traveling, so one day I want to go to a bunch of different places overseas.

Travel while you can :) It was the best experience I have ever had and am trying to save up for a second trip. I am lucky enough that I have a friend that I can go visit, and who speaks the language. I am sure either way I would have had a great time, but it just made the experience that much more enjoyable.
