dunno. more realistic most of the time. I have many styles I can accomplish though. I can copy most manga-ka's styles.

hands? a little bit I guess. I dunno if I ever got that much out of how-to books. I learn by drawing/copying/looking (not in that order necessarily). I think my drawing classes help the most. right now we're doing hand studies in class. its easiest to learn to draw from real models and then apply that knowledge to your own style.

I tryed looking at hands its hard and i cant figure it out :/ i thought books would help XD i try ed the copying thing but people say my anatomy is way off plus the last girl i posted got made fun of bad XD

It takes practicing your eyes too in order to see the problems with anatomy. I used to have huge problems with drawing really long necks and short legs. but it looked perfectly fine to me at the time. practice is probably the best thing for you.
