If the paper is loose in any spots, then you run into trouble.

I didn't know that. I just think its fun when the paper shows through and gives the wall a weird look!

Well, I was tired of the pattern.
It was over 20 years old after all... I was sick of seeing it.

I would be too! I wish I could change my walls every two years!

If I liked painting more I'd try that.

We're going to do a few accent walls.
That way if we get tired of it, we only have to change one wall.

I like painting, just not walls. I hate the way the paint smells.

We try to use Latex paint.
It doesn't smell as bad.

it still smells perfectly nasty!

I've laid out a timeline....

that's a long project! but it's good you have a timeline.

Each cabinet door will take 3 or 4 coats to cover it.
We can't do them all at once cuz we don't have room to lay them out.

oh my. this sounds like such a complicated project. so much work to do!
