i didn't sleep well last night. I heard weird noises under my bed I swear! I was very awake at 7am.

So what was that you were drinking last night again?

-.- that's beside the point! the rum and eggnog and the glass of wine were a good bit before bed and a lot before 7am! I think the paper and portfolio was settling under my bed. I'm used to weird noises because of squirrels getting on the porch roof under my window or tree branches, but I'm terrified of finding a mouse in my room.

I'm scared of the critter noises I hear not being outside. how many people want mice or squirrels running around in their room when they're trying to sleep. I'm scared of noises I can't identify.

Well, I can see that...I wouldn't want a mouse running across my face at night...

there are just so many scratches and scurrying coming for my walls and above and sometimes it sounds like its coming from the floor, but I'm bad at locating sound.

it's the squirrels everwhere! they're not actually in the floors, it just sounds like it. they're on the roof and in the tree against my window. maybe something in the attic too.

O.o We don't have cockroaches here. Thank goodness. I can deal with a mouse or two...I think they're cute, personally.

mice are cute, but only so when raised as pets. we don't really have roaches either.

Roaches are everywhere.

Same with mice. In an old house? In the winter? Where there is a chink in the armor, they will come. But again...cute. I used to see this one little wee brown mouse in the kitchen late at night. Dawwwwww. I'd keep super still so he'd come out and look adorable.
