I've been busy too, am taking a break from sewing a costume right now XD I just finished the apron, and will start on the skirt soon. I also have to make fake blood today at some point.... I don't know whether I should use acrylic paint or some sort of sorn syrup mixture.... hmmm

use syrup I think. that's what the people I know that do costume makeup use.

Fake Blood: yah, I am putting it all over the apron I just made XP. So much for that, huh? So I wanted something that would not get on the skirt I am making, but would still look like blood, you know?

llonka: It's really easy to sew! Start with simple patterns, they tell you what you need to know! That is how I learned, I taught myself. Now, I am not using a pattern for any of the items I am making today.

I lurv my purple, but I never wear it. I decorate with purples, greens, and blues but I wear mostly greens and browns. Nice forest-y colors. :D

guess i need to get some patterns then!! i have thought about making some scrubs (im a nurse aide, out of work though) and some romen shades. (i think that's what they are called)

Yah, scrubs and roman shades are nice and easy llonka! Then you won't want to stop making things. Plus, if you get patterns on sale, you will save so much money on scrubs! I do costuming mostly, but I also make things for my nieces and nephew, and for friends and family.

Kat: Do you think the syrup would dry properly, or just stay kinda tacky? I don't want it to get on the brown taffeta

prolly silly walmart. we have a lot of german menonites around here though. so i'm sure they make a lot of money off it. we have little fabric shop but they are soo expenisve!!!
