wow a lost remote for six months!! hubby would have been able to deal with that one. :lol: just 30 mins. around here means the world is ending.

so we survived the wood stain smell. still stinks a little in here but it's not as bad as yesterday. now we are trying to get the windows open. somebody painted them all shut. it sucks. wish we could open them.

we stained most of our deck today! lol

The painter that paints the apartments here ALWAYS paints the windows to the point you can just barely get them open if you can get them opened at all. :/ So they have years of paint on them.

I know! But since this is an apartment, everything has to be repainted after a tenant leaves. -_-

I don't know! But I want to know! Hopefully my mom can get my granddad talking into getting internet up there! It sucks not being able to get on when there is an event going on on Subeta and then on here! -_- At least I am assuming it is going to be an event. XD

Well...my mom is supposed to call tomorrow about internet...as in getting it at my grandfather's since he finally said yes to us having it up there! :D

It's been in the low 90s here lately with the heat index in the low to mid 100s after the first heat wave went away. Now it's supposed to be in the upper 90s/lower 100s come the mid/end of the week with the heat index even higher again. :/

I live in a place where we are not used to this kind of heat. I'm in Virginia near both the Skyline Drive and Blue Ridge Parkway.

yikes i bet that is hot for you. i'd rather high 90's anyday over 105 and up. :/ hubby and i think this winter is gonna be brutal.

I don't know what the winter will be like for here. It wasn't as bad this past winter as it was the one before.

our last winter was.. well... pitiful. we hardly got any snow. it got pretty cold a couple times, but other than that i felt cheated.

We did get some snow...nothing like the other year though where it was snow storm after snow storm. :/
