aww i loved band! but this basketball thing is too much. practice twice a week and a game every saturday, sometimes two games the same day.

Well basketball is good for him. Maybe he'll do something with it later on? Or go into football XD And then basketball with the follow on of baseball :rofl: You'll need Kaleb in soccer to officially be the "soccer mom" :D

Of course. It's really best not to look at a scale daily. I think once a week is almost too much, once or twice a month is the best way. And... no sodas. At all.

i've cut out pop, about a month ago already. :yes: hmm I think i'll go to weighing twice a month then, because it told me i gained back the two pounds i've lost. :P was under my calorie goal today and we even went to Burger King for supper! I got a salad which filled me up, and ate a small fries, should have skipped the fries. thinking about going down to the basement and doing some yoga while hubby is watching a race.

weigh yourself first thing in the morning.
some people just have to weight themselves daily.
but, really, once a week is probably best.

yeah i have been, last saturday i was 239.8 this saturday 241 or somethiing like that. :( only thing i can figure is i've been eating more. last week i kept my calories around 1500 but was starving, this week around 1700 and feel pretty great. maybe if i keep it at 1700 and keep working out, it'll start falling off. :/

I know how you feel llonka. Lol. But you have to remember that your husband married you because he loves you. No one is ever perfect. I get a green streak when I see him watching a show that has a cute chick in it, but let's be honest, if she wasn't pretty, she wouldn't be on the show. But he loves YOU not some "pretty face".

Also, llonka, you should try eating 5 times a day, but smaller meals. It's not really calories that you need to be paying attention to so much, as long as you snack healthy. We have the P90X book. I could get you some ideas for foods or for snacks if you want?

Stay at it, Lon! :illgetu: Like Hum said, weigh yourself in the morning. Also remember that you're exercising and building muscle, which weighs more than fat so you won't see drastic changes in weight, but you should feel it in your clothes, etc~ :yes:

I agree with Zephi about eating smaller more frequent portions. If you get used to eating lots in one session, your stomach gets stretched out and then you won't feel as full when you're not eating as much. If you just keep eating less than you usually did, it will shrink and you won't feel quite so hungry. Personally, I do think it's more beneficial to eat small things (healthy things) throughout the day as it will help keep your metabolism and energy up.

Iku is right. The weight might not change, you might just drop sizes. *shrugs* Happened to me. I was a size 10 when I went in the army at... uh.. not gonna say my weight and I'm the same weight but now I'm a 7 so...

Yeah. I think they said that it was drugs and alcohol that got Whitney. At least, that's what my husband said looking at the article. Hmmm. I haven't read it tho, but I wouldn't doubt it. Crack may be whack but that doesn't mean no one does it >.>

i think you should think about eating some cuties,
they are not expensive this time of year.
all the fiber helps keep you feeling like you have something in your stomach.
pluse the orange juice gives you energy.
bags of fruit are prriceless when you are dieting.
even if you slip, just start doing better again.
it will get easier as you go and ask your husband to help.
always have water with you, drink, drink and drink some more.
