llonka-llonka: I think we have brown recluses here too. Not 100% certain on it though. We have wolf spiders too. Those things are freaking scary! They are so freaking HUGE! And they STALK their prey!!! O.o

OMG don't even talk about those darn wolf spiders. i think i'm more scared of them than the others we have. O.o

I'm glad I have only ever seen one once...and my mom killed it. With bug spray because we weren't getting near it and it was on our balcony....obviously this was back when she still smoked....so....there was reason to kill it.

Wolf spiders are so scary too. Q.Q Once my sister and I thought that it would be cool or interesting to catch a whole bunch of spiders in one little hamster container and see what would happen. Well... what happened was that they were killing each other off... oh, and we caught about 20+ spiders in a matter of minutes =.= There's so many spiders in NC (and brown recluses and black widows too D:) and they kept fighting til there was only one... really... huge one left. @[email protected] So... we were like, well, what the heck do we do with this thing now? Who is gonna let it out? Neither one of us wanted to so I opened the top part of it and threw the whole cage thing out into the woods. Didn't think anything else of it. Well, it was summer so it was pretty warm, real nice weather. Perfect for having your windows open ^^ So that night I had my windows open, sitting on the couch watching some mind-numbing TV. My couch happened to be right under one of my windows. While watching the TV I caught a glimpse of something moving out of the corner of my eye, something crawling down from the window, something... I whipped my head over and looked... it was a huge wolf spider. I swear it was the same one from earlier that day. It came back! For revenge! I screamed, jumped up, bolted to the door, flung it open and ran all the way to my moms house... didn't even bother to shut my front door (but we were in the country, not near anyone else) so there's no telling how many spiders went in there that night. I sure as heck wasn't going back there.... not for a while T^T

Oh gosh.. that would be the worst horror film, and probably cheezy as well =.= I saw arachnophobia when I was a kid and I think I can say that was the biggest mistake of my life. O-O
