I don't get what's so exciting about the races.

Just watching on TV isn't nearly as exciting as being there in person.

The poor people who went to the hospital yesterday.
They're being kept there for observation, and so they're going to miss the race today!

Oh no! They should get their monies back.

Dessert- yup. hubby got me into it, i have family that watches too, but my dad never did. so i've been around it forever, just really didn't know much about it til now.

Wait did people watching the races get hurt?

Yup, there was a terrible crash where the front end of the car got caught in the fence, the motor went through the fence and tire hopped over and hit a guy. Lots of debris hurt fans too. Luckily the motor didn't hurt anyone though, but that's still really scary.

sounds like it, did any of the racers go visit the people in the hospital?

I don't really know, i know they were worried about them though.

i think that would be really nice of a racer to do :)

Yeah me too.

I doubt that they went last night.
It would cause them to lose too much focus for the race today.

But I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them go after the race today.

It's possible that any of the NW racers who were NOT in today's race went last night though.

True, plus there was a lot of media there i'm sure.

TONS of media there...trying to get all the information they could about the injuries...

Yeah I kind think they blew it out of proportion. xP Sometimes it just happens, not everything like that can be prevented.
