Despite my being new to Mene, I've been RPing for about 10 years...or the first time Poke`mon was shown off to America, and I was coming from chatrooms such as Sailor Moon Universe, Chatpool, Phoenix Crash and the like (whatever comes first). Then I gravitated to Neopets and Gaia Online; Gaia Online completely taking over as I couldn't bear the censoring on Neopets. WHAT DO YOU MEAN I CAN'T SAY TARNATION!? Grr..D:< All this during high school and a bit of college.
From GaiaOnline, I went to Kinsaki, but didn't linger for too long. It was just too slow. I eventually found a bit of a home at a forum called Silent Interference, which was a cross between Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Much lulz and learning did I know, and I wish not to repeat those mistakes again.*shudders from her fan girl history* X_x Names people might know be by are SonarP, GS Professor Tomoe, Hunter124Gamma, and Charles F Kane.
Horror, action/adventure, a bit of historical, some fan-based stuff..that's what I drift towards. If you got any ideas, though, just ask. I'm getting into Trauma Center, as can be seen by current avatar. *points* Oddly enough, I'll jump in a fluff or something fairly original.
As for pairings, though, shounen/shoujo-ai doesn't bother me. I let it happen naturally depending on who it is. If it's a canon that I'd be doing anything with, though, I tend to kill them off if they go into a relationship. >:D 'Cos I'm mean like that. I refuse to join anything that's pure romance. *shudder* So don't touch me unless you want some abuse! >:O
I used to RP as a werewolf at some point in time, but with the flood of vampires/werewolves, I don't bother. Although, if I jump into elementals, I go for the lesser picked water-types, such as a kappa.
Need some kind of alternate or supporting character? You have my ax! I love to play the non-deal types..mostly older folk that are have with some not-so-cool scars and obscure jobs with pudgy bellies and maybe a bit of warts...perhaps nationalities that aren't common. Sometimes I'll mix it up and be a younger kid, though. You know, support/conflict characters that hardly exist in RPing unless they're evil. >.>"
I make the cardinal sin of throwing in canons as I got a few that I just like seeing tortured, but not haphazardly. I won't throw out Hajime Busuzima unless he might actually have something to do with the current situation at hand.
I have more trouble finding good RPs here since many of them say "X pics only". T_T But I've found a few though.
Do you need a critter? A second banana? I'm game for that, too! Ever now and then I'll go to the feral end, be it or outside of a feral RP. That is to say, if you need a pet, again, you got my ax.

Neopets made me angry too. I mean, I couldn't say "and she was drinking his blood." Dang... Neopets ticked me off after a while.

When they started the role playing labeling thing (such as lit and semi-lit), I decided to stop role playing on there and stick to my role playing buddies.

Do they still allow role playing on Neopets, or did they finally enforce that awful rule?

Yeah...I would make My werewolf on here if there was an item that made her like half transform.

I used to have a werewolf in a Ning network. She was elderly, being in her 70's, and lived in the Southern part of the US and keeping most of her time on the Mississippi River. But the site was starting to decline, so she "died" in a way. :(

Wow, this moved on quite a bit. Welcome, Lehjamins, and I hope you have a good time here! I have a werewolf character, but she's not as easy to use as other people's are because I've ended up developing werewolf culture quite a bit. And...well, hey, if doctors take over this thread, at least we'll know we're safe if anybody goes into shock from no roleplays!

I might end up doing that D: I haven't gotten to roleplay a lot lately because I've had so much work to do.

I've got one roleplay on another forum where something strange happened. I started up two roleplays with the same girl, and because of a small problem with her character the second one started up two pages after the other. That somehow grew to a sixteen page difference. I've decided to selectively update our shorter roleplay, because it's bothering me a bit. I'm only updating our longer roleplay once a day now or so. I've managed to reduce it by five pages :) So far she hasn't called me out on it (I haven't told her), but I wonder how it'll go.

Role playing life has been fair to me. None of my cravings have been filled either. >_<; Oh well, I guess they will be filled one day. :angel:
