I've been completely lost for the last eleven posts, so yes, it is!

How are our current roleplays going? Mine are doing fairly well...a lot of my partners have bad grammar, and admittedly some of them aren't great at roleplaying, but ah well...I can always laugh over their posts :)

yeah same here, there's a certain roleplayer on here.
She can't spell worth a darn,
and she makes the worst sentences.
But she keeps wanting to roleplay with me and I don't have the heart to tell her why I keep saying no.

Yeah, it can be hard to say no to an RP request sometimes.
The worst is when you already agreed, and then find out after that there's no way you can possibly RP with the person...You don't want to be rude, but there's really no good solution in that situation.

Yes...that is indeed a terrible situation. I was caught in it on another forum with a guy who quite literally wouldn't do anything for himself...if his character fell asleep, he would stay asleep until I woke him up. If his character started eating, he would eat until I finished eating. Any action he started on, he would keep doing until I changed things. He didn't contribute to the plot in the least. If I would ask an NPC a question and then leave that bit out (a clear indication he's supposed to take it on so that I'm not talking with myself), he wouldn't pick up on it. I managed to get out of that roleplay, but it really was a sad experience.

One of the roleplays I was doing, I write long paragraphs when I first start off, and usually keep it up.
But with this one girl, I'd write a paragraph that was like this.:

and she replied.

I don't mind. I explained in my first post I like nice and short posts because they preserve the feeling of reality for me. I probably would've added a bit more than that roleplayer - 'Hi! How are you? Sorry that took so long.' - but I don't mind if I make a long post and people write a short one in return. I will admit that girl's post needs more, though.

I hate when people do that to me. I made an excuse to him to get out of it.
