I've started some new ones, but none terribly exciting yet...though I'm doing a thief x healer one that I like :)

That sucks T_T Part of why I don't do group roleplays. One on ones seem to last longer.

I just got bored of how you could go away for a day and a group roleplay would go ahead three or four pages without you...Really, is it too much to ask for people to take a break and wait for others?

And most of the time I'm to busy to go back and read what's happened...
So I stick to maybe three people at the most,
Or just one on ones.

Hey everyone~ I hope no one minds me posting here. XD

I guess I should post my intro thingie now.

I'm Kaci, and I've been roleplaying on and off for close to seven years. I started out on neopets when someone introduced me to an elemental wolf roleplay there. Of course, me being ten and that being my first roleplay ever, my character was pretty horrendous. o_o; But I think I've improved. I hope I've improved anyway. :sweat:

My favorite types of roleplays are modern day realism stuff. (Haha I'm so boring), though I don't mind throwing in fantasy elements as long as it's set in the present. I'm horrible at doing medieval roleplays; they just don't hold my interest. High end fantasy stuff doesn't really hold my interest either. Romance is a must in my roleplays. Even if it isn't the main focus, it has to be there. :S Even if it makes up 1% of the roleplay.

Umm...what else. I only roleplay guys. I refuse to roleplay girls for my own personal reasons. Well, I will roleplay a girl, but only if she is a side character. I just feel uncomfortable roleplaying girls. >.< Call me closed minded or whatever, but I just do not enjoy it. Roleplays in which I take on a main female role quickly die because I just do not find it fun at all. :/

Fan based roleplays also don't hold my interest. XD Original roleplays only for me! As far as parings go, I'm pretty much open to anything as long as it's either yaoi or het. Please note that I have a soft spot for drama in my relationships. Not so much as to make it a soap opera, but drama to keep it realistic and interesting!

But as much as I enjoy roleplaying, I find it hard to actively seek them. I get anxiety and think I suck and no one would want to roleplay with me. XD I get general anxiety with any sort of writing though, which is a shame because It's something I enjoy doing. : (

I also role played on Neopets, but my true start to role playing was in the Multi-City chat rooms. :P Ah... those were the days. ^_^;

Neopets seems to have been the starting ground for a lot of roleplayers.

I started a one x one search thread once, but I let it die. XD! Now I might make a new one, but I seriously doubt it. ;)

I think were only allowed one lizzy.

Haha, I might just swallow my anxiety and make one and see if anything comes from it. I mean, I've got nothing to lose, and I'll get some gold out of it and maybe a few roleplaying partners.

Uh, I think you are wrong, Ember. You can make another one if a certain amount of time has passed. That is what a mod told someone in a thread once. :P Cause if your One x One thread is like over five months old, it is too old to post in. I think you can't post in threads that are over a certain age. :S

Oh I just remember getting yelled at for having multiple request threads.

If you post two at the same time, then there is a problem, If you let your first One x One request thread die/expire. Then you are good to go. :) So yeah... I don't think Mene wants you bringing one year old threads back from the grave. :S Ask a mod to be sure though. :D
