I really just need to pay attention to it when it comes to figuring out the time you're in. On my own laptop, I used to have 3 different clocks; one for you, one for Jimmy (in Texas), and one for Ashley (in California). That way, you know, I was pretty safe. But my mom's lappy can't really bear to have so many things opened at once, so it's always a case of a quick calculation.

Aww, shucks. And here I was hoping I'd be able to have someone tell me if it's fabulous or crap. It SEEMS fabulous enough - a show involving singing, dancing, and random humour.
But no, see, they're going to start airing the series here, come Monday. (So, like, tomorrow.) And since I've heard so much about it... and since I can't resist anything musical-like... I'm already spazzing out over it, without knowing if my spazzing out is justified. *laughs* Oh well~ |
Hahaha It was the biggest fad come senior year at my high school -- supposed to be hilarious and amazing -- I have yet to see it though xD;

I'm going to TiVo it, to make sure I don't miss it. Then, after the first episode or two, I can either see if I like it enough to continue to TiVo it, or not.
Yanno, sometimes I love living here & getting things later than the rest of the world. x'D MOST of the Glee fad should be gone by now, I expect~ I hate liking something that everyone's a fan off. I either prefer liking it BEFORE everyone loves it, or getting into it waaaaay later. |

yeah, it gets pretty old when folks do that. it's like when a new movie comes out that is supposed to be funny or something. and in the commercial they show lots of funny stuff. so folks go around repeating it until it's not funny anymore. and then you go to see the movie and it turns out what they showed in the commercial was really the only funny parts of the movie anyway. I hate that.

And it happens so friggin' often, is what bothers me the most. I get that they're trying to make a movie alluring, but smashing all of the good parts into a trailer... then again, the whole purpose is to get as many people as possible to the box office, so it's not like some of those Hollywood fatcats CARE about it. |
That annoys me too -- but it's more that you hear all these quotes allll the timeee about EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING, so when you see the movie, it's just like "Oh, that's where they're getting it from. Cool." and it's just not funny anymore and ruins the movie -- that happened with The Hangover. Totally pissed me off :(

I laughed maybe once or twice -- but 99.9% of it was just "Oh, that's what they were talking about." or "Oh, that's where they got that line from." It was more annoying than anything XD; Love the movie, don't get me wrong -- but it's just not that funny to me~ |
Makes sense to me, if so much of it was like that. :/ For me it was all new - I'd only seen the trailer maybe 2 times, so most of it was just "rofl". x'D
I taped/Tivo'd Glee, by the way~ Haven't had the chance to look at it yet, but from what I can tell it's almost High School Musical poured into a series. *laughs* Not really, but some of the songs reminded me of it. |
Haha If it had all been new I would have thought it more hilarious -- but it wasn't in the sense that I knew it was all coming before it happened, and I knew half the lines already :3
LOL That's really what it is~ Glee is a musical club at a school and they perform musicals -- I think there's a bit of drama behind it -- but it really is like the high school musical thing LOL Let me know if it's any good? |

I tried watching Victorious but it was just too stupid -- I couldn't stand it XD; I was just like "Wow.. cliche and leading much? Soo couldn't see that one coming.. [/sarcasm]" I got bored in 10 minutes and turned it :3 |
