Hikako looked at her with a soft little smile as he tilted his head a bit. "Anna......as long as I know you love me.........No matter what happens to me.......I wont stop loving you....there is no kind of pain...that you could inflict on me.....that will make me hate you...."

Anna quickly kissed him and nodded. "Okay, I'm sorry for leaving you. I...overreacted." she said.

When Anna had kissed him, Hikako smiled and bit more and tilted his head shaking it a bit. "No....No you didnt....I understand how you felt...." he said as he wrapped his arms around her and hugged her a bit tightly.

Anna sighed. She couldn't help but smile, everything was okay now. "I'm sorry. I won't ever leave you again." she said.

Hikako smiled a bit as he nodded a little. "Anna...you dont have to apologize......" he said as he gave her a slight kiss again on her cheek and tilted his head and putting his hand on her other cheek a bit.

Anna nodded and stood up. Her little body shivered in her arms as she tried to stay warm. "Will you take me home? I'm incredibly cold."

Hikako smiled a bit softly as he nodded a little. "Alright...." he said as he wrapped his arms around her as he looked into her eyes a bit. "Want me to carry you?...for warmth?..." he said as he gave a slight chuckle.

Anna shrugged. "Only if you want to." she said. she started walking and yawned.

Looking back at Anna as he noticed how she just walked away, he smiled a bit softly and started to follow her from behind a bit. "You must be really tired huh?...." he asked with a soft little smile.

Hikako smled a bit softly as he nodded and kept walking behind her. When he noticed how she walked with more of a slump he sighed and walked a bit to catch up with her as he stopped her. "Okay....stop lying to yourself Anna....come on...lets go." he said as he walked ahead of her and kneeled down letting her get onto his back. "Here...I'll piggyback ride you home." he said with little smile.

As Hikako felt Anna get onto his back and wrap her arms around him, he turned his head a bit to the side and smiled at her. He put his hands onto her legs as he held onto her even though she had wrap them around him already and started to walk home to her house. "Go ahead and sleep....I'll put you to bed when we get to your house..." he said with a quiet and soft little tone.

As Hikako heard Anna's voice he smiled a bit and nodded still carrying her back to her home. "Sleep well, Anna." he said as he walked out of the woods and down the sidewalks looking for her house a bit.

When Hikako heard Anna he turned his head a little and smiled a bit. "Dont worry....we're almost home....." he said as he looked back to the direction he was walking in. "Just a little shortcut..."

Anna kissed his cheek gently. "Thank you Hikako." she said. She looked around at the unfamiliar scene and smiled.

As Hikako felt Anna's kiss he smiled a bit and walked right by a flower garden. They were giving away free flowers as he bent down and picked up a rose, he turned over towards her and handed her the rose. Suddenly an old man came from a house next to the garden and smiled. "Oh hey old man! long time no see!" he said waving to him a bit. The man looked over and smiled a bit at Hikako as he waved back a little. "Oh...Hikako.....yes...It has been a long time....who is that you have there...a friend?" he asked pointing up to Anna a bit weakly. He nodded a bit nervously as he laughed a little. "Yeah...you could say that."

The old man gave a little laugh as he looked at Anna. "Hello there...Anna...My name is Mamoru." the old man said as he held onto a cane so he could keep his balance. Hikako smiled a bit at the old man as he walked towards him helping him to stay standing up a bit. "Old man....you shouldnt have gotten out of bed....you know your sick....I'm shocked to see your even standing up well." he said with a little soft smile as Mamoru looked up at him and smiled a bit weakly, with his legs shaking a bit. "Hikako....you were always such a good person to me....why'd you leave?......" he asked as Hikako looked down a bit not answering his question at all.

Anna looked at Hikako and repositioned herself higher up on his back. She gave him a puzzled look and asked him, "Wait, left? What does he mean?" she asked.

Hikako frowned a bit as he looked at Mamoru rather then Anna. "I-....Its nothing, Anna....dont worry...its all in the past now..." he said a bit quietly as the old man frowned a bit and coughed a little covering his mouth with a fist. Hearing the cough Hikako looked up quickly at the old man as he put his arm towards his chest a little and the other on his back helping him stay standing up. "Becareful old man....come on.....lets get you to bed.......Anna....do you mind....getting off for now?..." he asked as he turned his head over a little.

Anna shook her head. "No, I don't mind at all." she said sheepishly. 'Why won't he tell me?' she thought. There must have been some reason, and she would find out.

As Hikako kneeled down for Anna to get off, he helped Mamoru back into his house, he kept helping him into his room as he laid the old man down. "Do you need anything, old man?" he asked with a little soft smile as he turned over towards Hikako a bit weakly. "Some tea....would be nice....." he said as Hikako nodded a little and got up walking towards the kitchen and fixing up some boiling water first.
