Deciding that the day had strained his mental faculties enough and being unsuccessful in his search for Rei, Negi decided to head home and retire for the evening. Besides, he did ask her to come by the tea house tomorrow anyway. As he strolled along he began to plan what he would serve when she arrived. He was thinking Soba but then thought having hamburgers might be a nice treat!

(OOC: Let's wait and give everyone a chance to wrap up whatever they are doing. Some people were in the middle of conversing.)

Yukina turned to Haruka. "I'm tired, which room is mine?" She asked yawning softly.

(OOC: Haruka already is asleep. The one you came out of after you came back online the other day. lol. Haruka already showed it to you. It was the den so it has a couch instead of a real bed, but she said she'd help you clean the room out later.)

Jia handed Peng over to Rie. "Here if he gets to out of hand I know some great recipes for chicken." She looked down at him and smiled then laughed. "He wasn't paying attention to the humans at the shrine lucky for him none of them where paying attention. Though I want to know why he was at my shrine. Have a good night Rei." Jia gave Rei a slight bow and Peng a stern look, then left for her small place there.


Peng puffed put his chest as he heard Jia's words. He let out a cry and glared at him. He calmed down as he looked up at Rei and hung his head this is not how he had hoped for her to see him.

"I should leave. Good night you two" Miles said standing up. He walked outside and over to his house. He opened his door and immediatly went to his bedroom. He layed down on his bed and fell asleep.

Yuki watched Miles leave. "Night Yukina" Yuki said standing up and walking into her bedroom. She turned off the lights and hopped onto her bed. She pulled the covers over herself and fell sleep.

(OOC: Let's see. The only ones left awake now are Sigoru, Peng, Rei, Yukina (who seems to be heading to bed), and Keeno (who has gone awol). Did I miss anyone?)

Haruka rolled over and moaned in her sleep. It was always the same dream, night after night. Cringing and running and screaming for someone to come save her. Her father chasing her with the cleaver, cutting and slashing at her whenever he got close enough. Screaming at her that she was no more than cattle to him, not human. Unlike in real life, in the dream her mother didn't ever seem to show up to stop him. The cleaver just kept slashing and the blood kept spreading, covering everything until all she could see was a haze of red. That was usually when she woke up moaning and sweaty. She'd catch her breath and go back to sleep, starting the cycle over again. She'd never told anyone about the nightmares and she had no intention of doing so. They were her problem and besides, she was enough of a freak without letting everyone know she was just as scarred on the inside as she was on the outside.

(OOC: Just a little something to pass the time. A little character development for my benefit and your reading pleasure, hopefully. lol Only Yuki might suspect anything about Haruka's nightmares, but Haruka tries to hide them so she might not know anything even with them living in the same house. Up to you Happy and of course not to be dealt with now, since we are all asleep. lol.)

Yukina stood up and went into the Den and laid down on the couch, at first she just laid there thinking about everything that had happened to day, then she drifted off into a restless sleep.

(OOC: Yay! Sent you one back, Ninja.)

Rei took Peng carefully into her arms and then smiled softly at Jia's remark. "I'm sure he won't be any trouble..." she murmured. Then nodded as Jia left to retire to her own room. After she had left Rei realized she was the only one standing in the halway and started walking to her own room. Maybe she should go drop Peng off in his own room first? But what if the cook saw him? The servant's didn't know about the zodiac curse so...maybe it would be best to bring him to her room.

After walking through her door, Rei kicked it shut behind her. Of course, not too hard or the sound would have echoed throughout the entire building. She placed Peng onto the bed and then moved to pull the curtains backover her windows, "Shouldn't you be turning back into a human right abut now Peng-san?" She asked, back to the rooster, as if contemplating her shades.

In a poof of smoke Peng turned back into his human form he quickly put his clothing back on hoping Rei wasn't paying attention to him. He moved from her bed to the floor and stud. "Thank you Rei-chan...I am sorry for bothering you." He turned to leave, but stopped as he reached the door. "Are you ok from your time in the closet Rei-chan?" Peng turned and looked at Rei.

Jia closed her door behind her and locked it as she went to her bed and laid down. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.It had been a long day for her. After having to keep up with the other zodiac members all she wanted was to sleep for a couple of years if she could.

(OOC: That is almost everyone! *waits patiently* Oh, got it Ninja, you are in! I posted your profile already.)

Haruka jolted awake in bed. She lay there panting for a few moments as her panic dissipated. "He's not here. He's not here." She whispered repeatedly as she reassured herself that she was alone in her room. She sighed in relief as her now fully awake mind reminded her that her father had been dead for years.

She slowly settled back down into her bed, pulling the covers up over her head like a shield. It took some time but she eventually managed to drift into restless sleep.

Rei closed her eyes and then turned around to face Peng, forcing a smile onto her face, "Do not worry about it Peng-san." It was her own problem if she had been affected by her stay in the closet or not, she didn't need to burden others with her own issues. She drew her hat off and placed it on top of her cabinet, reaching up a hand and ruffling her own hair.
