"You're very welcome Yukina-san." His eyes scrunched together as he gave her a satisfied cat-like grin.

Haruka tired of her cloud watching and stood up, brushing off her skirt. She started walking aimlessly and shortly found herself on a street that she recognized with a start. 'Should've known I'd end up here.' She shrugged and headed for the tea house at the other end of the street. She entered and was surprised to see how much company Negi had. She blinked slowly, too surprised at first to even greet the gathering of her cousins. |
Negi stared in shock at his newly arrived guest. He was at a loss as to what to do. He truly hoped his meal wouldn't offend Haru-chan. "He... Hello Haruka-chan!" Negi bowed to her and wondered if he was actually shrinking like he felt he was?

Kyo was surprise to see another come in. He smiled though. He then looked at Negi and could tell that all this attention was making him slightly uncomfortable. He wondered if there was some way of making it better but decided bringing up this would probily cause more stress for Negi. "You posistive about not needing help?" Kyo asked looking at Negi.

"Hi Haruka-san." Yukina said waving at her, she had started to sweat now, and her head was beginning to swim. She smiled weakly then closed her head as a headache hit her. She placed her head in her hands and rubbed her temples. "Could you open a window or turn on a fan Negi-san?" She asked weakly.

The rat was surprised when Haruka walked in. With a small wave she smiled to the girl. Her attention returned the table feeling a strange feeling in the room. Then her attention turned to Yukina. Lightly she rubbed the dogs shoulder. "Are you alright, Yukina?" she asked her quietly. Leiko noticed her head in her hands as she sat beside the dog.

Haruka blinked again and then registered that she was being spoken to. She waved once at everyone before looking at Negi. "Hey, I was just passing by and thought I'd drop in, but you seem to have a lot of people doing..." She trailed off as she spotted the beef. She wrinkled her nose and fought the urge to be sick. "Umm...I'll...I'll be right back, Negi-san." She bolted for the bathroom and splashed cold water on her face. "He can eat and serve what he likes, stupid." She muttered, angry at herself for reacting the way she had. "Get over it." She hung her head over the sink and focused on taking deep breaths.

"The fans are on and the windows are open. It was one of the first things I did this morning being as it was so warm. Are you not feeling well?" Negi asked Yukina.

"It's just really hot..I'm fine." She said sitting back up weakly, her face was beat red, and she was sweating. She pulled at her collar again trying to cool herself down. She didn't notice but her tongue had made it way out of her mouth a little and she was panting just like she would have if she had been in dog form.

Negi ran to the fridge and grabbed a nice cold bottle of musk melon flavored ramune and placed it before Yukina.

Haruka straightened up and dried her face and hands on a paper towel. She didn't know why the sight of the meat had affected her so strongly. Sure, she didn't eat beef because it made her feel like a cannibal, but she had never gotten really upset about those around her enjoying it.
'Maybe it was because it was raw?' She mused with a shudder. She took one last deep breath and moved slowly back into the main room. This time she was careful not to look at the grill and the raw meat. She sat gingerly at the table farthest from the hibachi and tried not to think about it. She kept her face tucked back in her hair, embarrassed by her aabrupt exit just a few minutes earlier. |
"Thank you very much." She said opening the bottle and drinking from it. It did help a little she felt a little cooled down. Her face went back to it's natural color, and she stopped sweating. "Sorry to be such a bother." She muttered quietly.

Kyo looked at Yukina worriedly and gently placed a hand on her forehead. She felt fine and he looked at her surprised. "Are you sure you're okay now?" he asked softly and looked into her eyes. He was wondering what couldve brought on such a sudden flash of heat. |
"It's no trouble at all. Haru-chan I'm putting the last of the patties on now. I hope I haven't offended you with the meal I'm preparing. I'll whip you up some onigiri in just a few minutes!" Negi knew that would get her attention. He'd never known the girl to pass up a rice ball!

"I think I'm just over heated, it's this turtle neck." She said gently leaning into his cool hand. She rolled up the sleeves of her shirt and took another sip of the drink Negi had given her.

Kyo smiled and nodded. "Well just try to relax and it should go away..." he said softly and forgot his hand was still on her head. He pulled it away gently and smiled warmly. He looked at her wishing to stroke her head and say everything was okay but he held back the erge.

Haruka looked up at Negi with a small forced smile. "It's fine." She managed to get out. "I...um...yeah, onigiri sound good. Thanks." She wasn't sure she'd be able to eat but she didn't want Negi to think he'd mortally offended her.

"I..I think I should go home and change..But I want to stay and taste Negi-san's hamburger." She said finishing the drink and smiling at Kyo. He was very kind to her, she wondered why, or if he was just being nice to her because he had to.

Kyo smiled and nodded. "I have money you could just go buy another shirt quickly." he offered. He didn't want her to miss out on her first hamburger and he didn't want her walking all the way home. She could pass out walking alone like that. He smiled reasuringly at her hoping she would take his offer.

"I couldn't take your money, I have money. Could..Could you come with me? I'm afraid I might pass out on the way." She said shaking her head at taking his money. She smiled and stood up weakly. She knew she could make it, but she wanted him to walk with her.

Kyo smiled and nodded standing with her. "We'll be right back... Don't eat our burgers." he said with a grin. He walked towards the door watching Yukina closely to make sure she wasn't going to pass out on him anytime soon. |
"Thank you for coming with me." Yukina said once they were outside. The cool air hit her and she cooled down a little. "So where is the closes clothing store?" She asked looking around the unfamiliar village.

(Leiko can talk to Haruka, who is looking slightly green still, lol... or Negi. Kyo- Metal posted the question you missed again already and you apparently missed it again. lol. Too busy flirting. lol)
