Leiko looked at him in surprise when he asked her what he should do. She tilted her head as he asked her. She did want to talk to him... "Well if you go look for the monkey I could help you... but she is dangerous," Leiko laughed lightly. The monkey got on her last nerve too. "It's up to you," she answered softly to Kyo. Leiko wondered where Keeno was. She had thought he would be here by now. It was weird to think him so late... unless it wasn't as late as she thought. The rat looked to Rei with a smile. She felt quite strange being in between these two people she hardly spoke to.
Kyo smiled miscieviously. "Yes... Well training it is. I personally have a bone to pick with the little twerp for pulling a prank on me last feast... But I'd like to find her after I'm more at ease with my surroundings..." he said and looked at the two. "Youre welcome to come join me if you want." he added smiling. He loved training and helping others. It was one of his few strong points he could help others with. Which made him happy because he was really a sweet kitty when it came to helping others in the family.
A small smile appeared on Rei's lips. Training? Her parents were probably turning in their graves by now, if they hadn't earlier. "That would be...nice." She answered. maybe it wouldn't be too bad, getting to know her cousin's better. At the previous feasts she had always stayed by herself, habits from school carrying over. And maybe she could teach them some dance moves as well...that would be almost...fun.
Leiko looked to Rei unsure of what to do. If she went off she would surely be on her own again. Once she heard Rei agreeing to go, she decided she would join them as well. "I'll come along too. Nothing better to do at the moment," she said softly with a smile. The only types of training she had was dancing, but that was a different story.

<(ok i fixed it...i think)>
Yuki sat next to her on a bright green cushion. "You want me to make something?" Yuki asked looking at Haruka. |
((where is everybody in the RP?))
((everybody has finally...besides Keeno...made it back to the Sohma compound))
(OOC: Haruka, Yuki, and Yukina are in a house behind the main house. Negi is still on his way and everyone else seems to have gathered in the main house. A couple of people haven't check in yet today.)
Haruka grinned happily at Yuki's offer, "Would you please? The only thing I can make is cereal and you know I don't really like milk." |
"Yeah any suggestions?" Yuki asked standing up and walking to the doorway that connected the two rooms. She stopped and looked at Haruka with a questioning look.
Lexi soon got bored and snuck away from Jia. She soon found Leiko and decided to stay closer to her. She snuck up on her and with a flick of her rear end she jumped up onto her back yelling "BANZAI!!!"
Leiko screamed as she felt someone jump on her back.Quickly she reached her arms behind her and grabbed whatever it was off of her and throwing it. She shivered realizing it was Lexi, that brat of a monkey. "What's your problem," she hissed at the monkey her temper beginning to bubble. Her hand rested on her heart feeling it beating horribly fast. The she looked to Kyo and sighed. "Guess we found the monkey," she said to Kyo gently. Her heart still racing in her chest.
Haruka thought for a minute before shrugging, "I don't know. Anything except beef is fine."
"...Rice balls?" Yuki asked. She didn't like them but maybe Haruka did.
Haruka nodded, "Sure, if that's what you want to make."
Lexi was thrown and turned in the air and landed on her hands smiling at Leiko "What's my problem... nothing just monkeying around" She sprung from her hands to her feet. "Come on you know I'm just having fun" she smiled widely with her innocent grin.
The rat sighed taking in a deep breath to calm herself. "I understand, but you frightened me. You shouldn't do things like that," she said to the monkey. Lexi often got on Leiko's nerves being her temper was quite short. Better than it used to be of course. She used to flip out and scream. Her vision looked between Kyo and Rei wondered what to do with the little chimp.
"You should tone it down, Lexi." Rei murmured, her expression unreadable as she watched the young monkey. She debated on whether or not to tell her that Satori was looking for her? Best not to...Lexi didn't need to be punished for having fun. The place was stuffy enough as it was, a little fun never hurt anyone...besides that servant who stepped on those tacks... Maybe Rei should go in Lexi's place? She could take the punishments...it was fine. Her eyes darted to Lexi's happy expression...yes, it would be best if she went in Lexi's place.
"Ok" Yuki said. It was the easiest thing to make so she thought why not? She walked into the kitchen and made four in case Yukina wanted one or two. She brought them to Haruka on a small tray and put the on the table then sat back down on the cushion.
"Thanks!" Haruka said with a cheerful smile as she picked up an onigiri and took a big bite. She chewed slowly, enjoying the simple, not burned food thoroughly.
Lexi apologized "sorry." She looked down sadly "I didn't mean to scare you Leiko" She looked away from Leiko looking like she was going to cry. But this was her faking it again to weasel her way out of getting yelled at more. But she really was sorry.
Leiko rubbed her head awkwardly. "It's alright, Lexi. I forgive you... I just got scared was all," she replied to the little girl. She strode over and lightly patted the girl on her head. Then she turned her gaze to Kyo. "Weren't you supposed to find Lexi, Kyo?" she asked him quietly still squatting down by Lexi. The rat felt bad for getting so mad at the little monkey girl.
Lexi looked to her rat zodiac friend her fake crying face instantly gone "Find me... God sent you after me didn't she like she did Jia" She jumped back about 10 feet Lexi went into wood monkey stance and her face turned to one of anger "You'll have to fight me first"
Kyo folded his arms and looked at Lexi. "Yes... And I'm the one who's supposed to punish her." he said and looked at Lexi evenly. "You are lucky that Satori let me do it." he said and grabbed the monkey. He grabbed her and took a rope and tied her to a tree. "Now stay... And maybe if you're good I'll let you go soon." he said and grinned. He had tied the knot in a way barely anyone knew how to untie it. "Now we can train." he said and grinned.
Rei tilted her head back and watched with slight curiosity as Kyo tied Lexi to the tree, "Very...interesting..." She murmured. Then reached up and yanked her hat off, placing it on Lexi's head, "Watch that for me?" she asked, her tone soft. Then she turned back to Kyo and blinked, "And how exactly...do you train?"
Haruka finished her first rice ball and grabbed a second one. She loved onigiri, that is why she had been trying to learn to make them when she almost burned down the school. "I can't wait to learn to cook." She told Yuki with a smile, "I want to learn to make onigiri right away."
She knew rice balls were supposed to be easy to make, but finding her way from home to school and back was supposed to be easy too. It seemed to be her lot in life that the simplest things should escape her completely. She knew she wasn't stupid, she read voraciously and made pretty good grades for someone who was perpetually tardy or missing entirely from school. She was good at reading people, though not always good at responding to their emotions and problems. 'So why can't I do the easy stuff like walking from point a to point b?' She pondered the question. It was one that had plagued her for years and she just couldn't figure it out. (OOC: The real reason is she spaces out while thinking deep thoughts and lets her body go on autopilot. lol. That's how she screws up her cooking too. No focus on her surroundings for more than a minute or two. Like cows will just stare off and ignore everything that doesn't directly concern them. Ne?) |
