Do you have any eccess memory you could delete? That might help it.

Excess memory from what? I have loads of space free on my harddrive

I was thinking the game wouldn't play because of too much memory used up on the computer.

I go either way for pirate or ninja. I just do whatever is in season, whether it be capturing ships or assasinating a local lord.

I've been a fan of Japanese soldiers since I was a kid... =) so samurai and ninjas are the most awesome troops ever to me XD

This is one of my favorite games. I have this game via Namco Museum vol. 4. (this particular volume has some of my favorite Namco made games such as Ordyne, Pac Land, etc.) I would rent the game from Family Video until someone bought it. Then a few years later I came across that very same copy I used to rent at a video game store and I got it for a cheap price. It's common to find vol. 1 and 3 while the others are harder to find. These particular volumes are for the PS1. Unlike the other Namco Museum games in these PS versions you can actually wander around in a museum and learn all sorts of info about the particular games.

Huh... that game actually sounds semi-fun...

One's overhead mode, another's side mini, and the last is side big. To see playthroughs on YouTube search for Genpei Toumaden. Story wise it is about a samurai resurected from hell by an old witch to assasinate the shogun. On your journey you must collect the following sacred items: Sword of Kusanagi, Mirror of Amaterasu, and Prayer Beads. During your quest you battle flaming skulls, spider skulls, oni, various minor gods, giant boars, dragons, banshees, giant millipedes, moths, monkeys, frogs, tigers, flying rocks, archers, and the following recurring characters: a rival samurai also resurrected who can sometimes attack you spinning in the air, a giant monk armed with weapons such as maces and poles, and a monk on a cloud that chants musical notes to life to attack you.

Sounds interesting... though I don't generally like when the game view changes peronally
