I can understand why people wouldn't like it in that it is ... well, depressing, really. And if maybe they were in a good mood it would force their mentality to be on something not so.. good. I don't not like it. I wouldn't put a frame on it and put it on my wall, but I appreciate that it is very real. Many people have felt something similar to this in their life, and yes, for some it is stronger than others. And for some it stays longer, because it cuts so deep. I know that after a few breakups, I wrote really emo poems, but you know what? It helped me see how I felt, and I think it is good to acknowledge where you are at. So kudos to you. I don't know how long ago you wrote this, and how much of a grudge you have held onto, but irregardless, the portrayal of emotions in this poem flows very well. I like where you moved to the next lines. I mean, it is definitely a different way to separate it than most others would do, but it leaves more room to us to have insight and pause to think. How many other poems have you written like this?

I've written poems a lot... Sestina's are by far my favorite I think... Hiku's are really fun too :) I know it's kind of weird for some because a few of my poems I wasn't even thinking. One I wrote watching a girl that was trying to get a guys attention... she loved him you could tell... it's strange.. I'm the same way with my art... thank you though :)

Ah yeah, I get what you are saying about art. (: I do that sometimes with poems but they seem to take a tad bit more focus lol. At least in my experiences.
And did you mean a haiku? Like 5/7/5? I have never heard of a Sestina before. |

Wow, I would love to live somewhere like Japan, just the whole experience of it all would be brilliant I think. Though at the moment I can't really see myself living anywhere else but Scotland. Sounds good. I had prok stir fry for dinner. It was allright I suppose, but it went a little watery when I was re-heating it. Ah, that would explain it. I would have asked if you could speak Japanese, but that sort of answers itself :lol: One of the girls I know is teaching herself Japanese, she sang a song in the school talent show. Yeah. I think I'll stick to tomato soup tomorrow though, I am addicted to that stuff :drool: Thank you <3 Yeah, I love drawing them. And yeah well my grandma spoke Japanese all the time but didn't like to confuse us, so spoke broken english around us. And my dad moved to America when he was young so the whole mixture, I did get a good head start being Japanese but most of it is because of personal study. ;P Kaze- lol yah I do huh :lol: been so long. You know one of the reasons why is because it is ready to do, but it is ready to do on the downstairs computer. Ever since I got my laptop I totally forgot about it. XDD I actually have like 3 comics I started last year but only got to the beginning 2-15 pages. : P |

Aww honey lol you don't have to apologize about your art. XDD If you want to improve it takes patience. Not forcing something down your throat that you don't want to take in. Like that, you will never find your style. It takes mostly just seeing art in your life and saying like, "I like that one really well." and noticing patterns of what interests you over other things.
