Feng grinns. "I snagged it when the cooks were busy filling our basket." She hands him a bottle. "One for you." She pulls out her bottle, "And one for me. Am i good, or am i good?"

"That's just the alchohol smell." Feng uncorks hers and takes a swig. "Mmmm. Good stuff." She then breaks off some of the bread and cheese and eats it.
'I suppose I can't have any can i?'

Grinning J'lor shrugged, "What and deal with missing out on my time slot here?"

Tell him to fix it I don't waking up so early

"I am not going to say that." Tapping his foot, he scratched Wikeths eye ridge as Rile ducked onto his shoulder.

"Say what?" Grinning he waved for J'lor to follow. "Come then, great and mighty rider. Let us see what progress you and your pet project have made!"

"You know we haven't made much progress," J'lor hissed, "you Lord holders are Holding us back."

"Now you know thats not fair. I'm all for your little project. The dragons are more a part of pern than the Holders ever could."

Hamon took a sip. "Hey, that is good!" He took another gulp, larger this time. He picked up one of the rolls, tearing it open and putting some cheese and meat in it.


Sheryn closed the door to her room, leaving Sedna to sleep. She walked down to the kitchen, grabbing a cup of klah and going outside.
~N'Tiera and his rider are back.~ Lumelith poked her head down by Sheryn. ~They went through a storm.~
"Storm? Oh, no..." Sheryn hurried out to the courtyard. "Kaden! Lumelith said that you went through a storm! Are you all right?"

"Careful. That's strong stuff." Feng takes another swig and eats some more bread and cheese.

"I didn't mean. Cmon. Lets face it. You and Jaxom, your the only two supporting my venture here." He shrugged and grinned, "speaking of, whens the next gather?"

"No. Last time you came to a gather, you wound up drinking more than a dragons weight in my good wine!" Chuckling and shaking his head, eyes laughing. "Go bother Lord Jaxom if you want to gather."

"Fine fine." Muttering, he rubbed his eyes and groaned, I need some klah.

No, you need to sleep.

"Just so happens that I have one right here, haven't even gotten around to drinking it, yet," she said, walking over and holding it out. "N'Tiera, glad to see that you could carry him home."
~Me as well. He is a good rider, and they are one of the best at difficult maneuvers.~


"Right," Hamon said, taking a bite of his sandwich. He took another sip of wine after that.

They eat and Hamon gets drunk.

"It is good that you made it back safely, though," Sheryn said, Lumelith humming agreement. "It would have been unfortunate to lose you."


Hamon blinked slowly, his eyes refusing to focus. "Fenghhhua'ng... How long hash we been here?" he asked, slurring his words.
~Amaranth! I feel... like I'm... floating.... Like in the water, but it's only my head...~

"since we started lunch or since we arrived at the beach?"
'Something's wrong with Tikith. He says he feels like he's floating... like in water, but only in his head.'
-It must be because Hamon is drunk. don't worry about it-

"Well, it's good to hear that you are so good," Sheryn said, grabbing Kaden's arm when he wobbled. "But can you make it to your rooms after being said punching bag?" She had a worried look on her face.

"Uhmmmm...." Hamon thought hard. "Sincssssse we lefft the weyr......" He started rocking from side to side. "It feels like my head is swimming withhhout meee......"

"We've been here most of the day. It's afternoon now. Why?"

"It can be hard, when you're tired," Sheryn replied, quite serious. "But I'll let you go, you seem well enough to make it." She took a step back, letting him continue on to his rooms.


Hamon looked at Fenghua'ng, humming out of tune. "Youuu knoww, You're reeeally preetty withh your hhair fulllll of waterr."

'No!! We can make it... Lumelith is busy anyway.'
"Why thank you. we should get going home."She stands up and holds a hand out to him, "Here. I'll help you up."

"I..." Hamon fell over, eyes closing. They popped back open when he hit the sand. "Oow..."

Sheryn shook her head as Kaden walked off, going to attend to the duties she had neglected.

"Well... Looks like we're camping out tonight. Don't worry. I'll take care of things."

"Good"
'I don't know, but if she asks where we are, don't talk to her.'
Feng goes about setting up a sort of camp. She gets stones together to make a firepit, and gathers wood to dry. She goes out into the water and catches a few fish in the shallow water. By the time she has all that done, it is well into evening. She starts getting the fire going, and turns to Hamon to see how he's doing.
