..... to bad the thread sounds like fun maybe next time. as to the occ tidbits im trying... i really am

Chryssta 02-17-2010 04:34 AM

Oh my god guys, I did it again... I'm sorry... -_- I meant to reply yesterday, but I never got around to getting the comp going and between wrecking my car a couple days ago and getting it back, then getting hit by a deer, and getting it fixed today...

My life has been really busy the past few days...

emiko_firecaster 02-17-2010 03:27 PM

we were all wondering what happened im sure nice to hear your all right....

Chryssta 02-18-2010 03:13 AM

Yeah, saturday morning I went into a ditch, sunday my father drove me around on the route, monday i had to drive his car, tuesday i got my car back and a deer promptly hit it, nearly taking off the driver's side mirror... and last night i only just found a few more of the pieces to 'fix' the mirror...

I has black duct tape. Everything can be fixed if you have the right color duct tape. (it helps its a black mirror)

Edit: Yay! Night Seekers replied to! Gonna go work on Stone next.

Remember when I said get ready to flee the city after the fight was over? Weeelllll, I'm gonna eat those words. Since this fight turned out longer and more energetic than I thought, there's no need to rush on to the next place anymore for entertainment. But I'm still planning on making the Rouges hunt you guys down, hehe, just not as immediately as I wanted back then :) That doesn't mean that we can't leave right away if you guys want  Looks like the time to kill of Vince and Ty is at hand :)

emiko_firecaster 02-19-2010 07:41 AM

lol that is what im trying to get to do with my character... specially since chryssta's werewolf is out of it youll deffinately need her help.... just how to do the fight scene....

Chryssta 02-20-2010 05:22 AM

I'll come up with a reply later after work, okies? Don't worry, I'll be thinking about it while driving and have a good one ready (i hope).

Chryssta 02-26-2010 05:30 AM

Does this mean the RPs died?

...took longer than I expected... wow...

MintyRey 02-26-2010 05:39 AM

Oh, I'm just waiting for Kry to post or if he's gonna say he's not gonna post >_>

Chryssta 02-26-2010 05:44 AM

I hit another deer last night. Took out my headlight this time...

MintyRey 02-26-2010 05:52 AM

There's a lot where you live, huh? I barely see any here but in January a bunch passed through our neighbor's backyard....Unfortunately, I didn't get to see them. My mom and sis told me about it though...

Chryssta 02-26-2010 05:57 AM

You must either live on the coast or in northern VA... Yeah, out here in the Styx, there's quite a few of them... We can ship them up to ya if you want...

MintyRey 02-26-2010 06:03 AM

Yup, NoVa. And thanks but no thanks for the deer. My family's all against deer ticks and stuff like that. Unless it's deer meat that's ready to eat or something. That I'd definitely want to try someday. Supposedly it's best when it's fresh though :XP.....

Chryssta 02-26-2010 06:07 AM

Yeah, fresh is better, but you gotta cook out the 'wild'. Leave the 'wild' in it and its unbearable. Take it out, marinate it to the point that you can't taste the wild, and it's great. Pulled deer barbeque is really good.

Kry 02-26-2010 06:10 AM

I LOVE deer barbeque. All this talk about deer meat is making me hungry. >.>

MintyRey 02-26-2010 06:14 AM

I've never tried deer before so I can't really tell what this 'wild' thing is you're talking about. But I'm guessing it's that gamey taste people associate with ....game meats...? I don't know how gamey is supposed to taste since I don't think I've ever eaten any game meats. If duck is considered one, I still don't know what it is I was supposed to taste :P

Chryssta 02-26-2010 06:14 AM

You can have it. Makes my tummy hurt if I eat too much of it. Give me good old pork BBQ or BBQ'd Spare ribs, or a nice thick steak... mmm... dangit, now I'm hungry...

Yeah, 'wild' and 'gamey' are the same. It's hard to describe it. You'd know the difference if you ate stock verses game.

O_O You've never eaten squirrel then?

Kry 02-26-2010 06:18 AM

My grandmother made sloppy joes with deer meat once. Best sloppy joes ever! -sigh- She was the only one in my family that could get the 'wild' taste out of deer meat. Sometimes she'd make us deer sausage biscuits on Saturday mornings when I was younger and used to stay at her house alot.

Chryssta 02-26-2010 06:19 AM

My mother discovered some way to make deer taste like grade A beef...

Kry 02-26-2010 06:23 AM

I've never had deer taste like beef though.

Chryssta 02-26-2010 06:25 AM

Its what she cooks it in... Dunno what that might be though...

Ok, time to get ready for work. Later guys. I'll try not to kill the wildlife tonight.

MintyRey 02-26-2010 06:27 AM

Not squirrel but Bison burger. Still tasted like regular beef to me though. Oh, but maybe a little sour, but not much enough for me to notice on my first bite. Bye Chryssta :) Drive safely.

Kry 02-26-2010 06:29 AM

I'm going to bed. Drive careful. If you go slow it lessens the chance of hitting a deer. I always drive slow at night. Damn deer are EVERYwhere.

Chryssta 02-26-2010 06:31 AM

Before I go... Anyone wanna take a wild guess at what Derrick went 'Ew' about?

Ok, Now I'm gone. ^_^ I'll let y'all think about what's on hotel room beds for awhile. See if it makes ya never wanna go to a con again. ^_~
