Don't you forget about me
 

After making a few posts in the books forum it occurred to me that it didn't matter. I probably won't return to those threads to see if anyone else posts because I'll forget I've even posted in them... So that got me to wondering;

• How often to you return to a thread you've posted in?
• Do you check to see what other people said or just if anyone quoted you to agree/argue with you?
• How often do you subscribe to a thread?
• What threads do you check every day?
• What is your home forum?

I'm going to move this on over to Community Discussion, as I think it's more appropriate there. :D

I have my settings to auto-subscribe (no email notification), so...I'm subscribed to every thread I post in unless I decide otherwise. XD; I check my subscribed threads a LOT for all the reasons you mentioned and return to said threads a LOT...it's a nasty little habit of mine; sometimes I'm so bad about it I forget to look for new threads to post in. :sweat: Oops.

Usually I hang out in General Discussion, I poke my head into the roleplaying forum a lot, but sadly I haven't found a thread I've wanted to join in ages (with the exception of one that required a real person photo for your profile - I have major issues with that, so I didn't e__e;). And obviously I step into Community Discussion once in a while.

I try to return several times a day, because I don't like it when a thread dies out, what is the point of posting if you can't discuss things with others. It has bothered me that few people return to threads they post in, I wonder if it would help if they added a post finder for people to refer to for their last posts.

For starters, my "main" forums are the Quests forum and the Avatar Chat. "Side" forums would be the Exchange and Art Shops, while all the rest I browse occasionally and post in from time to time when either I feel like it, have the time to do so, or have something to contribute to the topic. =)

I regularly check my main forums. And by regularly I try to check them once a day, normally when I get home and have done a little bit of homework to soothe my guilt. xDD;; I have a LOT of thread just from those two alone, so you can also say that I am very active there and check replies/reply to them more often. ^^ The same can be said about my side forums, but those I mostly just lurk in them instead of actually posting. ^^;;

To be more specific, I reply to my friends' quest threads more often than not. I've been told I keep threads alive a lot, but that could just be their opinions. xDD;; <3<3

I actually don't subscribe all that much. :x Cause if I did, I would have too many threads to subscribe to. xDD;; Besides, I like exploring, and I feel; that subscribing to threads can and probably will limit said exploration of forums. Just a personal preference though. >;P

I read a bit, but mostly see if anyone replied to me...
Never... I just search them out until I feel unwelcome and then stop looking...

General Discussion Forums on most websites are where I find the most interesting topics.

I try to locate threads where I have posted in but I haven't found the subscribe button yet so it doesn't do me much good. So far I have checked my poetry thread and letters never sent. I haven't found a home forum yet but I like it here in the Community Discussion.

only if they have it where i can go to my posts usually.. cause its easier to look for it anyway haha... lol sometimes yes sometimes no...depends i guess i usually don't look back unless i plan on chatting a bit and staying for an event or something which i usually don't stay on anything long longest ive stayed is on ernya for some events... ahhhh i like that site alot...( i use to be like addicted to gaia but, it got old haha, now im more into newer things i guess?) but im getting a little sick of all the sites im on.. i know like just about every free little game there is out there on the internet D: well currently waiting for a few new games/about 3 avatar sites to come out D;..

* As long as the thread isn't 5+ pages long I always check what other people said in case I want to respond to what they say and in case they replied to me but didn't use quotes and instead said my name

* pretty often because I can unsubscribe when it slows down or im not interested anymore

* my quest, private RPs, the monsun, a few from the avatar chat forums, some quest threads, and new ones in the general chat

* I'm a wanderer lol my preferred forum is always changing
