"The same room is fine you know.I think I can trust you not to steal my stuff." After all, that's all she was worried about. She gave him a bright smile. Besides I'm going to be back down here trying to make some money a little bit later anyways! Her eyes sparkled at the thought of being on stage again, dancing. Her head kind of rolled back and forth on her neck in a slow dance to music playing in her head.

She was excited.

Kotori looked at Drake but had moved his head to sharply and gave him a stomach ache. "We're going to New Atreas." His face was pale like he was going to be sick. "And there is a bridge further down the river we can cross for a slight shortcut."

Katie rode her horse a few steps over by Kotoris,she had noticed his skin looked pale."Are you okay?You look like your sick."She asked in a concerned voice.She had learned a few healing methods in the forest from living their most of her life.

Drake got up."Eh,he's fine..he's just being a wimp."He chuckled and got on his horse,flipping his hair.

Kotori glared at the horse's back, though the glare was for Drake. "I'd like to see you do something you're uncomfortable with. " He muttered.


Akiko smiled, "Thank you Aranthal." As soon as he was out of sight she walked to the tavern side to take a look at what people would be around in the city. Alot of them seemed like they would be nice. Some calm religious like figures, though there were a few shady characters in the corners. Some fighters, adventurers, possibly out for the magic like they were. Quite a few people looked rather lost, they were in full robes with magical signs all over them.

Her face looked sad for them, but that's not who her business would be with. Well, she hoped so. "Hey, i was curious if I might do a little show tonight. Free except for what tips I might happen to get. Would that be okay?"

The barkeeper looked at her, glancing her over quickly before indicating she follow him to the back room. After a little while she came back out with a smile on her face and he shook her hand. "See you later Miss Akiko."

Akiko smiled brightly at the man giving him a very flattering flutter of the eyelashes and slid out the door with a wave and went to the inn side.

Drake smirked."I'm talking to you aren't I?"He asked,making his horse go around in a circle.
"Oh,just be quiet Drake,you look like an idiot.."She muttered,he was always an idiot.

Kotori nodded, his silence creeping in again because he felt so sick being up on top of the horse's back. He had no trouble when he was up in trees, or climbing on cliffs. So why when he was on the back of a horse? "Dream." He took the chance to glance at Katie as if to ask 'could you tell please, little sick here.' But even that much of a turn made him queasy so he just looked back down at the horse's neck. He'd completely missed Solruil's glance earlier because of it, but the idea behind lessons was pleasant enough that he was pretty sure he knew what she was doing, and he was grateful.

(Time is slightly off between the two groups I think. I don't remember it but basically they'll all get to New Atreas in time for the meeting thing? )

When it started to get dark outside, the barkeep waved a hand for silence. "We have some special entertainment for you all tonight, and here she is! The young Lady Fire Dream." The lights in the inn were already dim since the place was lit by candles, but it gave the perfect effect as Akiko stepped through the back door seeming to float to the center stage in a couple spins and graceful steps.

Once in the center she started to dance, all eyes caught on to her motions. Her cape was gone and all she wore was the beautiful red dress that she had on underneath it. Her hair was not underneath a shawl anymore so when she spun it flickered in the candlelight. Every movement reflecting the motion of a calm fire. She could do cartwheels and splits, but she made everything seem smooth. It was amazing to watch.

At one point she even did a spin combined with a vertical split that made her legs look like the "pole" she was spinning around. It was a very seductive move and she slid down into a split where she flicker her hair back, winked and than flipped back into a cartwheel and disappeared off the stage.

(Kind of think Esmerelda dance combined with belly dancing)

Katie looked at Kotori again,she had asked earlier what was wrong and he said nothing so she simply looked at him."Need my help?"She asked,her horse by his.She would have to go into the forest to look and see if she could find any herbs but if he was sick they should treat it now instead of later.

Drake payed no attention to Kotori,what so ever.He obviously disliked him and didn't want to get along."Sorry Solruil..it won't happen again."He lied,adding in a small chuckle because of how she motherly adressed herself.

((Yeah your right about the timing...But oh well. How about the two that are already there hear that the council has been postponed another day? that would give the group enough time to get there. And in New Atr'eas, everyone knows about the council happening and updates are always being put up by way of signs and people talking so it would be easy for them to hear about it.))

Solruil rolled her eyes but laughed a little as well when Drake spoke, obviously sarcasm in his voice. It's ok Kotori. you don't need to explain..She said trying to save them all from seeing vomit today. After awhile they came to the crossing that Kotori had dreamed about and as they went across the bridge, Solruil realized that a great amount of time had been cut off from the trip. This was great news even though she knew they would still be late. The council was not the kind of people you wanted to keep waiting but because she was summoned, she also knew that they would wait if need be. They were on the last stretch to New Atr'eas anyway.

Akiko came out of the back room that was connected to the stage and had a quick conversation with the barkeep. He handed her a huge pile of money which she tried to refuse but he insisted, eventually winning the argument and filling her coin pouch with money. "They'll drink a lot more after that entertainment, Thanks M'lady." She blushed and gave him a small curtsy.

Her cape and shawl were back on and she glanced around the room quickly and noticed Aranthal in which case her blushed darkened greatly and she walked over to him. "Enjoying your meal?" Before she could get the words completely out she heard some men at a table nearby talking about her.

"It was like magic. Almost like the magic isn't gone from the world."
"I'd say it rather makes up for the council meeting being moved a day, wouldn't you?"
The first man laughed and agreed. Akiko turned back to Aranthal her face still crimson.

Kotori muttered out a "thanks" to both Katie and Solruil. Everyone there had noticed that he wasn't a good rider, and it made him blush slightly and keep his head down. "I'll explain later." He would, just, felt horribly sick right than, and he couldn't explain why. The horse was still sensing this and was stepping gently and not galloping ahead, making sure that its rider didn't fall off or get worse.

Both horse and rider shivered slightly as the mist from the waterfall hit them. The wet rocks to their left shone with the light through the falls and the crashing sound of the water was amazingly quiet, and very far down below them. Kotori, having already been looking down when they reached the bridge closed his eyes after noticing the height. Why in the world am I suddenly afraid of heights?

The group passed over the bridge and continued making their way toward New At'reas. They didn't say very much the rest of the way there until they could almost see the giant city. Possibly because they had no idea what awaited them, or in the elf's case, maybe because he though he would dislodge all his food. Solruil spoke up, We should see the towers of the capitol any time now- and as soon as she finished saying that, the bright building-tops rose from the the other side of the large hill ahead of them. Solruil gasped. She had forgotten how beautiful the place was...

Kotori chanced a glance up and his mouth dropped open, it was so beautiful for being man made. The elven city that he could remember would probably be the only thing that rivaled it, and he was never allowed back there. Looking up didn't help his stomach any but he was glad to see that their journey was almost at an end. At least... the part that led up to the city.

Akiko blushed when he called her his wife, "Of course.. it was a very sly trick Aranthal. What do you think they wanted?" She looked up at him through her eyelashes though her head was towards her food as she ate it gracefully. "I am glad they got the picture though if they were here for a fight." She sighed silently as she swallowed her next bite, thinking about how she had never actually been in love, everything was for show. For money in some cases.

Realizing what they wanted had her spin and shoot a glare across the room at them, deadly and with fire in her eyes. As Aranthal's hand slid down her back though she felt heat rise in her body and she turned to look at him with her lips parted in a small 'o.' "Well thank you for defending me than Aranthal." She could feel his warmth at their closeness but couldn't tell if it was from her or him. "Thank you." this time the heat reached her cheeks in a blush. "I just did that for fun, I really enjoy doing dancing. "

"Oh sure, i can try, but warriors tend to have two left feet." She took the last bite of her food and tried to look innocent, though the teasing merriment in her eyes gave her away. She stood up, thanking the barkeep for the meal and headed for the inn side with a small flourish of her skirt and a wink at Aranthal. "Coming love?" She smiled with laughter still in her eyes, edging him on to follow.
