That avatar pleased me so much when I first saw it. I knew immediately who it was.xD
|
Haha. Thanks, Dy!
I had a lot of fun making it. ^^ I absolutely love Mr. Tumnus, and was totally excited when I realized that we had the items to make him. It wasn't long after we got the faun items, either. I had made that avi sometime in early to mid-March. |
Haha. <3 Narnia. It was a tad too solemn, but it was good.
|
Mhmm. It was good. I liked him and his little flute. Haha.
But the younger brother drove me nuts. Damn brat. :illgetu: |
@ Suona - xD He's the "bad guy" among all the "good" children.
|
Booo! lol
And I think that they're all pretty annoying in their own ways. Like I dont really like the older sister. And the older brother can be irritating with his stubbornness, but he's cute enough that I can forgive him. ;D |
xD To be honest, I don't feel particularly close to any of the children. They're just too "good" for me.
|
lol Too good? I can see that
I dont particularly like how bratty that they can be |
I like, it Su! He looks like he feels so guilty about luring Lucy in.
I thought the first Narnia movie was really good, but the books have a special place in my heart. It was the first book series I ever cried at the end of simply because I didn't want it to be over! Mr. Tumnus is a dear, definitely one of my favorites! I like all the siblings as well. |
@ Suona - A more annoying type of bad. @[email protected];;
|
@ Iltu - Thanks. ^^ And yeah, thats how I kind of think of him. When he was sheepish and guilty and what not.
I've actually never read the books. ><;; I hear good things about them, though. @ Dy - Haha. Noo bueno. Annoying just sucks. |
@ Suona - I can deal with a bad kid. A "beastly" kid just. Ughh...
|
Do you consider them beastly? lol
|
@ Suona - No. But when they were "misbehaving", that was the way they'd describe each other. @[email protected];; Everything's just too proper.
|
Ooh. I getcha.
Nothing wrong with being a bit proper, I shouldn't think. And they just have a different way of wording things. |
@ Suona - I suppose. But it just feels a tad unnatural to see everything behaving so well. Probably because I'm a lousy American or something. XD
|
Hadsvich: Your drawing is done. :)
|
*peers in and adjusts monocle*
My, that is one fine drawing. It reminds me of that song... "Rad Bromance", if I recall. They look so fun to be together. xD |
Thanks, Iro! :D
Means a lot comin from a fellow artist~ |
You are good at expressions, Demo, whether by body expression or facial expressions. I have a lot to work with on those. xD
|
Yay!~ Thanks, Demo~ :'D I love it~ <3 |

From the works that I see you post, you're quite expressive. I don't know wutchoo talkin bout. :talk2hand: Quote:

There's still a hint of stiffness in my artworks, I'm trying to get past that. I can't do dynamic poses very well yet. Perhaps I should try out the 100 emotions/expressions meme or something. xD
|
You know what would be a good way? Watch Don Bluth's movies...like... Thumbelina, All Dogs Go to Heaven, A Troll in Central Park, Anastasia...ALL OF THEM! xD He does the greatest facial expressions aside from wonderful animation in general. Watching his movies, and some other disney movies, helped me with things like facial expression and body language.
|
I need some work on my poses and expressions as well.
My artist-buddy tells me that my anatomy seems to be alright. But all my expressions are fairly flat and my faces always look so unrealistic. :x And I have the worse sense of perspective known to man. xD |
