The story: A hundred years have passed since Inuyasha and Kagome had collected all of the Shikon no teme (Sacred Jewel) shards and now that the threat of it's powers have passed a new evil has made it's self known. Legend says that the rise of a seventh born generation of inu demon would bring forth the powers of the hell dragon, Ikaku. Ikaku, an enemy of Inuyasha's father, seeks the pure blood of the inu bloodline because it is said that the blood would grant unltimate powers if ingested.
As the years rolled on, Myoga had forgotten of Inuteshiro's warning for his son, Sesshomaru, that if he ever had a child, their life would be in great danger. Unfortunately, his memory of the story had been jogged when the birth of Inuyami, Sesshomaru's only child, was born. For safty's sake, Sesshomaru put Inuyami in the care of her uncle Inuyasha and Kagome. She spent four years with them until Kaede's village was attacked by Shinichi and Inokumaru, threatening to take Inuyami for their own gain. Sesshomaru hid Inuyami deep within a cave near the Bone Eatter's Well as placed her into a deep enchanted eternal sleep, which would render her a child until she woke up, able to take care of and defend herself.
Now that Inuyami has reached reawoken and her body has grown into a 20 year old. She now weilds the Sou'ugna, and her blood is finally at it's highest potentcy and danger looms around the cornor. Will she have the power to defend no only her self but the world she lives in? Will she have allies to help her survive this horrible ordeal, or will the world and Inuyami fall prey to Ikaku?

rima yawned stitting up in her bed and looked around. another long night with barely any sleep. she sighed and stood up, dressing into her normal demon slaying attire. she pulled her long black hair into a very loose ponytail in the back of her head and put on regular clothes over her slayer attire. she was a desendant of the great sango the demon slayer and miroku the proud wondering monk. she smiled walking outside and pushing her only weapon, her sword. though she was only 16, she was a master as any with her sword.

Gottaurufu sighed as she looked at herself in the water of a river she walked by it had been 5 years since she walked out of her fathers pack and ever since the Half Wolf Demon has been on her own. She was 22 years old and only the place that had ever liked her for what she was was the pack itself and that was even on a fine line she had some love their but to be honest all of the pack was happy to see her go all but her father and grandfather. Gottaurufu's hair blew away from her face to show two different eyes one was blue the other Gold. This made her smile sadly. This eye and the blood running through her is what made her unwanted by most of the pack. Sighing again her put her hair up in a braid leaving just enough to hide her golden eye and walked along the quiet river.

(yes i know the name is long but its too words together and it means 'mix wolf')
(also for got to say that her Grandfather is Koga)

rima trudged down through the forest hoping to find some food soon. she came across a river and sighed. "running water." she walked down and took off her regular clothes, leaving only her slayer uniform on. she washed her face and took a few drinks before sencing another's presence. she wasnt sure what is was, but kept on guard, near the water and only an arm's reach away from her sword.

Gottaurufu stopped dead in her steps as she saw someone drinking from the water and hid quickly in some high grass as she watch to see if the other girl saw her. See looked closely at the other 'crap' she thought 'just what i don't need a slayer on my tail.' to make sure she didn't see her Gottaurufu sat there watching the slayer 'c'mon Gotta girl you have done thing wrong so what if she sees you.' even with that thought she stayed hidden and quiet.

rima knew the presence wasnt human. or fully human at least and stood up, peeking in the direction she thought it was. "hello?" she called out to the tall grassed area. "is anyone there?"

Gottaurufu heart stopped, but she stood up and waved with a small and worried smile on her face "Um...Hi I'm um sorry if a scared you I will um just leave and be on my away...um," she put a hand on the back of her head and laughed sadly "I can say that are paths wont cross so um Please don't kill me." sweat rolled down Gottaurufu's face as she backed up slowly and tried to be as friendly as she could. Though as she thought about it the two of them could be come friends but that all depended on the slayer she was talking to. She had come a crossed several of them they all wanted to kill her.

seeing the girl come out, she watched her carefully. she grabbed her sword, but made no move to show her that she would use it on her. "what kind of demon are you? speak." she then added, "i will not harm you if you cooperate."

Gottaurufu laughed nervously "Um okay no need to harm anyone here ahaha," she stopped backing up and just stood there "Oh jeez okay I am a half wolf demon and my name is Gottaurufu." She smiled softly this time "And you are a slayer whos name I do not know."

just a half wolf demon? i see no problem with that... she lowered her sword but kept it in her hand and looked at her a little less cautious. "okay then. and my name is rima. and yes. as you can see i am a demon slayer." she looked her over and nodded. "you cannot harm me, and it is unlikely you will harm others." she stated matter-of-factly. "you are most likely shunned by both of your kind. human and wolf demon." she looked back up at her. "am i correct?"

Gottaurufu frowned "Yeah kinda." nerves seem to settle a little when Rime lowered her sword. She looked around "So what brings you here." She asked walking back up to the river and bending down to make sure her hair she had lift out of the braid hide her eye and then took a drink.

"im a wonderer. my clan do not need me right now. and you?" she asked lowering her guard slightly, she walked to the water a few feet away from her. she sat down on a dry peice of land and watched her curiously.

Gottaurufu looked up and sighed "I lift my grandfathers pack Five years ago been on my own ever since." she smiled at the slayer. "Its nice ya know to talk to some one who's not out to get me." she sweat dropped and laughed quietly.

rima nodded. "yeah...i guess..." she seemed nervous, so rima put her sword in its sheath and set it on the grass next to her. "i wont hurt you, so you can relax if you want." she offered.

"Ah Yeah sorry I've been on edge for a few days." Gottaurufu relaxed a little and smile as she took a deep breath. "Are you hungry?" She asked digging in her side bag and bring out a rolled up piece of cloth. She went back to digging in the bag and brought out some fruit.

rima watched the fruit and nodded after a few moments. "i havent eaten in two days." her stomache growled proving it and she blushed a little. she reached over and took an apple. "thanks." she muttered and bit into it happily. she loved apples.

Gottaurufu laughed at the growl and unrolled the cloth to revel some jerky and toke a small piece of it. "Your welcome Rima-sama." She spoke softly with a kind smile.

rima ate the apple and sighed throwing the core into the running water when she had eaten all she could. her hunger wouldnt get to her next until tomorrow possibly. so she was good until then. she looked over to the demon. "what is your name, demon?" she asked, laying down on her belly and propping her head up with one arm.

"Gottaurufu," Gottaurufu answered "but you can just call me Gotta." She grabbed and stick and stared to make little shapes in the water while humming. Then the wind blew and Gottaurufu turned her head to hide her golden eye in fear it would frighten or shock her new friend. Ether way she was afraid of the outcome like she always was but it didn't seem to bother her that much anymore but still.

(there is a story be hind the eye but i don't have it all thought out so bare with me ^^' pls)

rima watched her peculiar behavior as the wind blew and shrugged it off for a later time. now, she was relaxing. she leaned back and sighed. "gotta, you are the first demon to last this long around me without being slaughtered. be proud."

Gotta smiled "Will I guess that counts for something then huh." She looked at Rima and wandered "Hey Rima do you kill them often?" It was a question she wasn't sure if she should be asking or not but it just came out. Not that she cared if a demon died or not most tried to kill her so she thought of it as pay back.

rima shrugged. "often? well i slay at least one a week. if their weaker however i can manage up to three in one day. it all depends." she sat up looking her over and smiled weakly. "i mostly do it for the money or shelter for a night. but if threatened, i will not hesitate to kill anything."
