~Bunnies~ or *Chinchillas*?

Chinchillas. Totally. Once, I was in school and we were allowed to bring in a pet each day (but it couldn't be a cat or a dog) and on the first day someone brought in a cute little ~bunny~, and the next day, someone brought in a *chinchilla* and I totally fell in love with it. It is so SOFT AND FURRY!!! But I am against the idea of a *chinchilla* being killed and skinned to keep us warm in the winter (A.K.A. the old ladies in costco wearing a big furry *chinchilla* coat and a small hat with dead bird feathers on it and they think they're cool.)

I think that *chinchillas* are better. The world has seen enough ~bunnies~ hopping around eating cabbage and pooping. Time for the fat little *chinchillas* to get out and take them over!!!

~BUNNY~

Twisted Insanity 02-03-2010 03:16 AM

Chinchillas, all the way. Bunnies are so common, and yes, they're really cute, but... Chinchillas seem much cooler. I'd definitely want a chinchilla as a pet when I get older. My friend wants one too, all my other friends looked at her crazy, but I could relate. ^^ It totally bugs me when people where real animal fur on coats and hats and stuff. What's so stylish or attractive about wearing a dead animal? Really? It's fur, how would they like it if someone took off all the hair on their body and wore it? (Which is pretty gross, actually.) Especially the cute ones, it's so not fair.

Deffinitly chinchillas, they are like bunnys cuteness X100000

Lemonstre 02-03-2010 05:43 AM

Chinchillas for the win! After all, they are nocturnal like 99% of the teenage nation so it makes for a perfect late night cuddling pet!=^^= PLUS Chinchillas are super soft and will eat those nasty dinner left overs =D

Draciolus 02-03-2010 05:50 AM

Well, from those pictures, the bunny. But from my friends Chinchilla, I prefer them. But then again, my brother and sister-in-law have a very cute bunny....I vote both.

Antique Doll 02-03-2010 06:28 AM

That picture of the bunny is probably one of the cutest things I've seen in my life. I wanna hug it so hard. >w< Or just put it in my pocket and save it for later.

I would have to agree with Draciolus. I'd pick both as well Chinchillas are pretty amazing but, bunnies are one of my two favorite animals. Bunnies and Sloths. 8D Sloths win all.

Sakubo 02-03-2010 06:55 AM

I love them both they're both so adorable and cuddly I wanna squeeze them all but anyways I'd choose both of them can't seem to choose one seeing how they're just so cute!

Kilia 02-03-2010 06:57 AM

both i like them both

Mimiroppu 02-03-2010 12:45 PM

One of these days I want to own both a chinchilla and a bunny. Bunnies are definitely my pick out of those two, but chinchillas are very cute, too. I just love rabbits more.♥

Cherish 02-03-2010 02:04 PM

Angora bunnies all the way!

Look at it being all cute and fluffy. LOOK AT IT!
It's like a Tribble. Its cuteness could make a chinchilla die of jealousy on the spot.

I love Chinchilla's! My old one Zorro (a nearly black), I had him for 3 years before he past away (tried to escape, broke his spine. )My current Chin, Shay, he's a little sweet heart. My tit mouse *giggles* I've had him for four years. He's a smokey gray and his eyes have this little tint of purple ^.^ So adorable!

Miss Eevee 02-04-2010 12:03 AM

both for sure.

if chins weren't so expensive i'd definitely have one.
but since they are, i make do with bunnies.
^__^

Poison Flavored Kisses 02-04-2010 12:40 AM

Chinchilla most def.
I saw one in pets mart. it was the last one and it was incredibly adorable.
it made these cute little squeaking noises.
It was like one hundred and twenty bucks.
I wanted it soooooo bad.

Ikuto Akihiko Hasegawa 02-04-2010 01:22 AM

Definitely chinchillas. I own two chinchillas with opposite personalities and one bunny. Bunnies are cute and cool, but chinchillas have a cute personality I love. Their poop is a bit cleaner than rabbit poop as well. :P

Kole_Locke 02-04-2010 08:59 PM

I like both actually, I love to watch chinchillas take a bath in a box of sand. That is just not only cute but it is so funny to watch. I really like bunnies a bit more because of their cute ears and because they are just too adorable. I'm a bunny freak what can I say. I used to have a couple of pet bunnies and they were my life! It's a shame they have such short life spans. My bunnies lived five to six yeasr.

Guivre 02-04-2010 09:55 PM

I agree with Kole. I love, LOVE small animals as pets but their short lifespans get to me, every time. I just can't be philosophical about it. ; ;

I guess out of the two for the poll, I pick bunnies because I really like how lops look. =D

Beetle 02-05-2010 12:33 AM

I really want a Chinchilla. they have them at the Pet shop, but they are $300.

Manga_Animefan1223 02-05-2010 01:25 AM

the Chinchillas at the pet store here are like, $200, and I was like, "What??" and then the dude working there said, "Yea, dawg. That's 'cause they're so fluffay." Seriously. I was all TALK IN ENGLISH, DUDE WITH A GOATEE!!!

*S*a*K*u*R*a 02-06-2010 03:28 PM

Chinchillas!! most definetly yes, because they are so cute taking sand baths and are fluffy as clouds!!

Synthetika 02-06-2010 10:31 PM

both i suppose O_o they are both fluffy and cute but I would never own either as a pet seeing as my dogs would probably eat them O_O since one of my dogs barks like a nutcase every time he sees a squirrel or a raccoon and he tries to catch em xD oh well I will just have to look at the cuteness

Eaglefire 02-06-2010 10:39 PM

i love chinchillas.
i hear they taste good deep fried and smothered in butter.
XD

AgnesGloom 02-07-2010 06:27 AM

Bunnies, but only because I've never had a chinchilla. But those chinchillas are adorable ^_^

JapaneseCherryBlossom 02-08-2010 05:55 AM

They are both so cute! My friend has a chinchilla, and said it can live over 20 years so that would be pretty neat. It also bathed in volcanic dust, it was really cool to watch.

LenGe 02-08-2010 06:09 PM

Never knew they existed before :D but chinchillas are cute to a extreme. Are they expensive?

Cyove 02-10-2010 05:44 AM

^ Yes, Chins are usually fairly pricey, both to purchase and to care for. ^^;

I prefer Chinchillas. I'm allergic to rabbits for one, and for two, Chinchillas are still pretty exotic and unique. Not as many people have them, and I like that sort of thing. Although Chinchillas are a lot more responsibility due to their special care needs. But I'm home all day long anyways, so I could totally use one around the house to keep me occupied. Lol. Though, my all time favorite small pets are rats and ferrets. Both are much more easily potty trained in my experience. =P
