"You didn't answer my other question, master." Tellyah said losing her calm. "Why am I so much older? I don't want to be responsible for a bunch of kids I don't even know!" She stood suddenly, and clenched her hands into fists. "Are why am I so God Damn angry all the time now?! Why can't I control my emotions?!"

"Eeep!" Anna sank at Freds sudden outburst and setting aof a tree to flame. "Calm down Freddie!" She stated Bofre creating a sphear of water and dousing the tree. "Som one will see!" she hissed in a scolding mannor. her attenchion went to the young Katherin and a small smile came to her face. "hello Kathy, So sorry about frddie!" Sh stated as she fixed the burning tree and gave Fred a very dangerous glar.

Sam stared at the moody girl, his face reverted back to his familiar expressionless mask. "I'd like you to know that I'm twelve and even if your older than I am, it doesn't mean you have authority over me. I can take care of myself" This was a fact as he only behaved and obeyed those who controlled his food and board. Right now, that only ment the old man(whose name was still a mystery) and he had never respected anyone as his standards for a mentor was pretty high."Didn't he already tell you? He said that he was responsible for us. Not you. Sam wanted to leave the table but he didn't because he still wanted to ask questions. "What does my artifact look like? What can I do with my powers?" his face couldn't maintain it's detached appearance and he smiled; eager for more answers to the mysterious game.

"I know what her said!" Tellyah yelled at the boy. "I'm not deaf! You" she jabbed a pointed finger at him. "Stay out of it. Mind your own business and leave me alone." Tellyah went to leave but found that she couldn't. "Alright old man. Why can't I leave?"

"My name is Master El Sam and thank you for listening, Tellyah can you take off the ring? If you can then the ring did not choose you and you are free to go, but if not you must stay, or the orginazation will find you and kill you" said El with a look of seriuosness "Are you all done then?" he asked looking around

Zen nodded, staring at his ring and the wall he hit

"right calm down, Kathy do you know waht we are doing here today?" he asked breathign slowly

"Of course I can't take the ring off." Tellyah said calmly. "You already knew that. What are we supposed to be ready for? The training you promised us?" Tellyah was quiet for a moment, and sat down again. "I'm sorry for my outburst. I don't know what came over me."

"Yes the training young ones if you are ready please follow me" El stood up and waited to see who else would stand

Zen stood "Ready" he said

Master El huh? He still hasn't answered Sam's questions about his artifacts or powers but Sam forgot about it when he mentioned leaving for training. That must mean they were going outside. Sam stood up and pushed his chair in. He reached over and gave Melrose's chair a small jerk. "C'mon, let's go" he said before shouting a "aye-aye Capt'n!" and giving a mock salute. Finally. Sam had been dying for a breathe of fresh air and a look outside.

"I don't want to be cooped anymore anyway." Tellyah said standing again, looking at her still clean plate. "I don't want to be controlled anymore. I trust you Master El, because as of now, you are the only one I can trust." She looked at the other children with wary eyes and nodded her head looking towards Sam. I may know how you feel better than you think, kid. She smiled, I'll have to take a few of them under my wing. I trust that the old man won't hurt them, but I don't know how long he's going to be with us. She held out her arm. "Come her Rin." She liked the energetic child, it reminded her of the handful her twin bothers were - would have been.

Anna heaved a small sigh of releafe as it seemed that Fred had calmed down and was now quetioning Katherin about their misson.

Ink took off her glove and revealed her ring,"Huh, so that means I can make illusions, make myself invisible and all that other stuff?" She snapped her fingers and disappeared instantly,"This won't take long to master." Ink stated from some place.
"Now to come back...." A snapping sound was heard and Ink reappeared.
"Much better!" Ink stood as well.

rin watched them all with wide eyes. "WOOOW!" she exclaimed standing up. she walked to each one of them seeing thier rings and then looked at her own. "so...fire..." she smiled widely and sat back down at her chair. she looked up at master el. "so master el, is there anything else before i see how to cotrol fire!?" she looked back down to her ring.

Ink shrugged and put on her glove again, concealing her ring,"I wanna start soon! I can't wait to combine this with my scythe moves! I can even use this when I fly!"

rin was now ignoring everything that was going on in the room and sighed trying to focus on the ring. she bit her lip and titled her head at it. "how do i get it to work?" she asked more to herself than to the others.

Ink waved a hand dismissively,"Don't concentrate too much on it,"

"If you will follow me to the training, Rooms" said El opening a door, he stepped outside into a garden there were walls around it but it was fresh air "Break into groups of your choosing please, groups of three"

Zen walked over to one side and waited for others to join him

Fred said "sorry, we have to find the six, the Elders have found them"

Ink shrugged, walked over and stood next to Zen,"This'll be fun."

Anna nodded slowly. She understood what they were to do, though she didnt like the idea. But she couldent do anyting about it. She was appart of the company now, and if she EVER chose to leave they would inprison her and use her till she was all dried up. or worse Keep her locked away with her eliments worst enimy sorrunding(msp) her.

"So i suppose they also know where the Six are hiding!?" She asked with a small tilt of her head as she was now admiering Fred. He is a wonderfull leader once you get around the explosive tempor! She thought with a small smile and sigh.

"How is breaking us up going to teach us to work together?" Tellyah asked master El. "Isn't that the opposite of what you should be doing? We should all be working together. A machine doesn't work if the parts don't mesh." She looked at Rin and sighed then looked down at her ring. She reached towards a pitcher of water and imagined an orb of water in her hand. Suddenly one appeared, frightening her and sloshing on the floor. She snapped her head to face Master El. "I'm going crazy, aren't I?"

Tellyah shook her head. "No. This isn't possible. This isn't right. I'm not supposed to be able to do this. No one is."

Sam scowled at Melrose. "It's your own fault that you fell, I just gave it a pull." He pulled her left arm and helped her up. Mister El was talking about splitting up for training groups. Sam thought for a moment about who he wanted to pick; Ink's light flashes hurt his eyes and she looked as though she already had her power controlled. Sam hasn't tried to see what he could do to earth but he didn't want to be seen as slow. There was Tellyah but her element was water and Sam preferred soil over mud. Zen was a bit mysterious to him and Tellyah said she wanted Rin or something. Turning to Melrose, Sam asked "You'll team up with me right? I'm earth, so my element won't bother yours much." Sam doubted anything can bother air. It could choke fire and flow past light 'n' darkness. Well, actually, water would be a obstacle as wind can't beat a lake. He turned towards Mister El ",are you going to supervise one group? Or are you the only adult to teach us here?". He raised his voice above indoor level, this time he didn't want his questions ignored.

Tellyah looked at Sam. "You don't have to shout. I'm sure he can hear just fine." Tellyah walked over and touched Rin's shoulder. "If we have to be in groups, you'll help me won't you? I'm sure you can get me to believe. " she smiled at the girl. She reminds me of a younger me. Eager, trusting. Oh, to the days of misspent time. Tellyah sighed again and looked at the pitcher of water. Maybe if I concentrate... she thought. I have a ball of water in my hands. she thought closing her eyes. It's a perfect sphere of sloshing liquid. Tellyah moved the fingers of her right hand, forming the water like clay. She jumped a bit as she felt the liquid in her hand, and opened her eyes. In her hand the was in fact a perfect sphere of water. She used her left pointer finger and spun it. "Wow." she breathed. "I'm really doing this, aren't I?"
