@Sammi: Aww, you should try to go sometime! I found a nice cheap place up my way; it's only 20 bucks for a night pass and 20 more for rentals. I'm not very good, though... It's only my second time on a mountain (ever!)

Birdie~ I actually have a friend who lives in Colorado and who skis all the time. She kept telling me that she wants me to visit her and come ski. She went to my college this semester, but then transferred back home after winter break. :( Those prices aren't so bad. I think there's a place, like, three hours from here, maybe?

It might not seem like it, but it's definitely worth it. And, Colorado skiing/boarding sounds dream-like! ^_^

Now I just need to figure out when/if I could actually go. XD And yes, I would love to go to Colorado! But ahhh, money for that is a problem. XD

lol same here... Plus, you DEFINITELY want to go someplace cheap for your first few times... You have to make sure that it's something you want to do; plus it's easier to learn on tiny mountains. XD

lol Do you plan to ski or board? And, actually, that's how I started learning, myself... Picked up a cheapo board at Target in the eighth grade and flew down a few hills on it. Sadly, once you get on the mountain, it's totally different!
