I never feel right asking for money. It feels greedy. My dad offered me $250 for Christmas because my sisters gifts equated to that much. I said, 'surprise me', and listed off things I liked, like music, art, clothing, etc. But he still just gave me to money straight. I never even got to buy myself a Christmas present since I had to take my cat to the vet. vov;

It depends on the person, I guess? XD I always put thought into my gifts, even if it's something cheap and simple, or something I made with my hands. I just like feeling like the other person made that effort too. Otherwise it feels like I'm saying, 'I don't care what you want to give me, I want money because you suck ];<'. lol. XDD
I like making gift baskets. >w<;; I feel bad, though. My mother's birthday is Monday, and my family is very poor, so we went to walmart and scrounged up just enough to buy a little present (about 20 dollars, and SHE paid it T_T;; ), but the selection was awful. I kept looking at things and remarking that walmart had gone downhill and the clothing was ugly, but then hushing myself because a lot of old ladies were in that section, attempting to shop for family and I didn't want to discourage them. They try hard. A few times I even wanted to go over and offer to help them, but I had to go with my sisters. And because I always feel bad/undeserving of any gifts. xD;;;;; You can ask Matt, I become very flustered and embarrassed or guilty. I LOVE to GIVE gifts, though. |

Well, both my mother and Matt's have been asking me to basically be pregnant by Christmas. So I feel old? @[email protected];;; They have the same first name, LOL. Wanda. It's such an uncommon name, yet they both have it, and they're both obsessed with having grandchildren.
Yessu~. I'm amazed at how in character the pieces you made me, are, actually. Most artists tend to do lovely renditions, but the personalities are wrong, you know? >[email protected] And you're like, 'thank you, it's beautiful' and then in your head, 'but it's not what I wanted. @[email protected];' Do I type quickly? xD I never noticed. I know I'm the fastest typist in my family, but I figured that was normal. I have very slim fingers (but very small hands). Amusingly, I don't type with my hands on homerow. I type sort of like one finger typing, I only use three fingers on either hand instead of all five, and whenever I'm not typing my hand is in my lap, but I type faster and more proficiently than most who type 'properly', so whatever works for you. |
