Kasumi.... did you just rick roll the thread? OMG~! I havent been rolled in forever.... rushes off to YouTube to watch the video....

Jeannesha 02-15-2010 04:36 AM

I read Green Mile, and I think he wrote it totally with the movie in mind.
It read more like a screenplay to me than one of his novels.

Polarys 02-15-2010 04:37 AM

Sam was cute. There's no way anyone could hate him. I felt so bad when Frodo was all like "No Sam...it's you..." I was about to jump at the screen and pummel the weakling. v.v

@Rini: -Purrs, flicks tail across your nose.- x3

Honestly I felt the same way as well, but it didn't bother me too much, because both came out spectacular. Honestly, I think casting wise, the cast for the Green Mile was perfect, at least for what I imagined while reading.

*tackles polerys and rinrin*
yo! sup?? are we talking about books today??
hm...
i'd say i love steven king books and i like the harry potter books... it's prolly because of the way she writes about death n stuff. tho in an interview (on the 6th dvd) she tells that she books were written because it was a way for her to deal with her mother's death.
i've never read any of the twilight books so i can't compare any of them. =3 though i do like the vampys and magic type stories as well as the scaryness of steven king books! =3

cedura 02-15-2010 04:39 AM

Well... I think Pippen is my favorite hobbit....

Kasumi you are my hero for rick rolling the thread... I havent been rick rolled in exactly a year (today was my 1 yr wedding anniversary too.... I know its a bit cliche but whatever >.<) but at the wedding, when they were supposed to play the special music, the grooms men had switched the CD and they played that song instead, and they had all hidden trench coats behind the alter, and they danced to it.... it was great :)

Jeannesha 02-15-2010 04:39 AM

No, they did a good job with the movie.
It's interesting, but I read the book after the movie came out. I knew that whatshisname was the star, so as I read the book, I was picturing him in it.
