I haven't watched any of the olympics. That is sad about the guy dieing. I hadn't heard. I avoid watching the news as much as possible. It is bad for my mood.

I typically agree with not watching the news. Although, I do like to go online and check whats up with congress fairly often. I want to know what is possibly being passed, so that I can e-mail my representatives to either tell them I do want them to vote for it, or to tell them I don't want them to vote for it.

Nothing. I have generalized anxiety disorder so I avoid anything that will give me more disasters to worry about. lol. I have enough problems in my own life without borrowing them from other people. Unless I can try to help it just hurts me to hear how horrible things are. At least if someone is telling me about a problem directly I can be sympathetic and try to give advice or comfort.

That's a really good approach to have, Boo. I have some of the same things going on. I just haven't been able to find a good balance between taking care of myself, and feeling guilty about not helping people with their problems. Sometimes I hate being the friend that everyone goes to when they are having problems.
