Sanctuary is basically, there are humans, animals, and abnormal (animals or humans with special abilities or mythological beings) but the idea is that if normal humans knew about them...we'd kill them, and it's true we probably would. So they've been in hiding for hundreds of years thanks to a "sanctuary" system that keeps the dangerous ones in, and teaches the ones who are human or animal like and reasonably safe, to be safe. 83

and there are some very dangerous ones, and some very very bad people out there trying to get their hands on the more powerful abnormals and stuff, and the people at the sanctuaries have to stop them. <3
