Movies you watched constantly as a kid
Were there any movies that you'd watch over and over and over again when you were a kid? Did it drive your parents crazy?
For me they were; Babes in Toyland (doubt anyone's heard of that one) The Brave Little Toaster Hocus Pocus My Neighbor Totoro (my first anime  ) |
I always liked pretty much any Disney movie, along with the Swan Princess and Anastasia. <3
|
Hmm...I remember I really liked The Secret Garden, Richie Rich, Space Jam and Death Becomes Her.

I watched Anastasia over and over again and yes it drove my parents nuts. |
I'm not sure.
Probably The Little Mermaid. |
Space Jam,Beauty and the Beast,Pocahontas,Sounds of Music,Sister act 1 and 2. lols I use to all way dance to the opening of space jam as kid. my grand maw thought it was cute and my singing was off key a bit back then.

>.> Well, mine are going to be really weird what with everyone else watching Disney movies all the time.
Jaws. When I was like five I insisted on watching Jaws every day. Made me paranoid, but I loved it so much. I also watched Tremors all the time too. I also did have one Disney movie - Beauty and the Beast - and apparently I was so enamored of Belle and the lead character from Tremors, Val, that I had an imaginary friend whose name was a conglomeration of their names. |
I watched Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" at least three times a month as a kid. I loved that thing and I still do.

As a kid..? how old would that be?? I know when I was REALLY little, like three or four I constantly watched Barney in my car when I was driven to school . I hope that counts

I've heard of babes in toyland, but I don't remember it
I used to also always watch Hocus Pocus :) Some others I watched all the time were probably Nightmare before christmas Anastasia annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd Beetlejuice |
Dude I totally watched babes in toyland too, I've never met anyone else who has seen it. I also watched Star Wars constantly and Back to The Future. I also saw blade runner a few times but never understood it until I got older. Oh and I almost forgot Terminator 2, my grampa would let me watch it while my grandma was out doing stuff. He was awesome.

I watch The Sixth Sense over and over when I was younger. I also loved Legend and Labyrinth and Hocus Pocus.
|
There are so many for me. I always loved 'A Little Princess'.
Then there was just about every Disney movie, but my favorites were 101 Dalmations, Robin Hood and Mulan. Pixar was great too, but I wasn't that little when they came out, except for Toy Story and A Bug's Life. God, I feel so old. When I realized a few days ago that Toy Story 1 came out 15 years ago, it blew my mind. ;____; I also loved to watch 'How The Grinch Stole Christmas', 'The Lorax' and Disney's 'A Christmas Carol'. :3 |
When I was younger,
we'd go to our library, but not for books- they had (and still do~) a collection of VHS *Q* I 'd always watch The Emperor's New Groove, and Aristocats (which, when I was younger, I apparently called it "Fristocats" XDDD) EDIT: just by reading of the above post, I also watched Robin Hood alot XDD and Toy Story and its sequal were favorites when I was a little older I think X3 |

I was hooked on movies like The Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal. I also always confused The Last Unicorn and Legend. Whenever I asked my mom to put in the movie about the unicorns (meaning Legend) she would put in The Last Unicorn. I loved that one, but I wanted to see REAL unicorns :P
|
I watched Pocahontas constantly as a child.
|
I constantly watched Casper
|
The Halloween tree! And Gay Purr-ee! And the Pagemaster! And my favourite; the Phantom Toll-Booth! I miss these movies so much.
|
Casper.
Epicccccc! |
I used to watch a load of Disney movies as a kid. I think I must've watched The Lion King a million times XD I ended up seeing that in the West End too.
|
Disney movies, Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland, Addams Family, Maverick, Clue
How much younger are we talking? I watched this stuff at an age span of 4-10. Not necessarily right when any of it came out, mind you. |
